Thoughts on the future of "Bloodbarn" and future story plans

Input REALLY needed, especially if you're a fan of Bloodbarn and/or slime TF!

Hello!  While I enjoy writing all four of my serials, and while I feel "Bloodbarn" has a solid foundation, it is definitely the odd one out right now.

It performs worse than "Slime Crimes" and "The Belle Tolls", and also worse than "Soft and Wet" did when that was being published.

I can kind of see why. As there seems to be a bit of a divide between slime and cow enjoyers, trying to combine slow cow AND slime TF in the same story means enjoyers of one of the other have to sit through a lot of content they don't find interesting.  I think I might be trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist so to speak.

My idea is to axe the "slime TF" angle from Bloodbarn and re-focus it on the cow TF of Laura.  Since "The Belle Tolls" is REALLY slow cow TF that takes a while to get to stuff like udders, hooves, horns, tail, etc, I thought readers might enjoy a slow cow TF that's not quite as slow.

I would re-edit the first bits to remove emphasis on Cassie's TF and work on devolving Laura into a cow over the next few chapters.

For those who like slime and don't like cow TF, I hear you.  I understand removing Cassie's TF from Bloodbarn would completely alienate you from the story and would likely be a disappointment.

Beyond the fact that "Slime Crimes" is still being published, I would find a way to make it up to you guys.  

One idea is to split Bloodbarn into two separate stories.  This first serial would be "Bloobarn: Laura's Story" and the other would be "Bloodbarn: Cassie's Story," titles being tentative.  These would focus on each sister individually, though "Cassie's Story" would come sometime after Laura's side.

Another idea is to keep the monthly slot after I finish Bloodbarn open for one-off short stories, in which case I would make sure to do something nice for slime fans there.

All in all, I'm looking to re-focus Bloodbarn and give up on the idea of portraying slow cow and slime TF in the same story.
