A bit late I know but the first trailer that came out (while we were waiting 2 years for season 8) had Arya running through the corridors in Winterfell, but they removed the whites behind her. We knew then that there was going to be a huge battle. How I wish I could go back to the end of season 7 and have the same excitement I felt then, before season 8💩 dropped. Plus it leaked accurately weeks before so I knew who was going to be on the throne and how they got there! Still pisses me off now 🤬 Hopefully these GOT movies will give us a better ending!

I'm a book fan and in the books the reader gets to know Theon/Reek's thoughts and it is heartbreaking the way his thoughts change during his storyline. I hope when the books are finished Theon and Bran have a moment similar to the one in this episode.

Went from feeling displaced bc he grew up in Winterfell, betraying Robb and capturing Bran and Rickon and taking Winterfell, then enduring Ramsay and saving Yara and finally hearing words of assurance from Bran that he’s a good man 😭

2024-11-04 22:06:05 +0000 UTCA thought i had when watching this episode; why do they kill off the Dothraki in such a useless way? Literally sending them charging into DARKNESS, bruh. And then again, why are the catapults and other siege weaponry OUTSIDE the castle, and also outside the trench like come on, some basic common sense. That ended up helping me put into words my main criticism of the last two seasons: epic and cool fight scenes, bombastic action sequencues and amazing visuals have completely overshadowed the logic and pacing of the show, therefore the increase in plot armor (remember when they killed BIG main characters off, like Robb, Catelyn, Ned?) I love this show, but when it started feeling like everything goes great for the good guys and the charm of each episode just comes from fan servicy callbacks to previous seasons, I kinda lost the investment into their arcs and stories. Its not mindless hate or "cope", just can´t force myself to see past those fundamental errors, regardless of how good the show is overall.

Like 'Jaqen' avatar who took poison 'died' the WAIF is similarly a passed down avatar for teaching an training and the NoOne who plays her is willing to GIVE HER LIFE to TEACH. Not a real person who is jealous or enraged but only a challenger to teach set obstacles.
