Can you imagine the story Tormund is going to come up with after almost getting killed by wights and then escaping on dragon back? 🤣 although some book fans believe his story about mating with a bear. One of the Mormont women (nicknamed She-Bear) tells about being a skin changer/warg and conceiving her children while she was a bear.

2024-10-20 02:08:45 +0000 UTCBarry first thank you man for the pause countdown! About Jon keeping on fighting, honestly I think this is where the writing starts to get bad. Jon would never have a chance at going through all of the wights and getting to the Night King. There was so much time where he could have just gotten onto the dragon. The writers had to have a way for Viserion to die, then be raised by the night king, and for Uncle Benjen to finally meet Jon beyond the wall, go out in a badass way….. and making Jon the dumbest person on the planet is what their solution was. As if he would not have learned anything from charging for Rickon at the Battle of the Bastards, where he barely escaped alive multiple times. As if he learned nothing from his Leeroy Jenkins charge. I’m not a writer, I don’t know how they could have changed this, but there has to be a better way. So, no, you did not miss anything, you just picked up on the fact that the episode writers fucked up. Still a great episode though!

So I got weepy again anew but wanting waiting for otherstuff I steeled myself looking to the rest of the episode

The cards they were dealt were actually quite fitting for their characters irregardless of the negative nature.
