Tanjiro is deep in his Total Concentration training and we learn more about the mysterious Kanao. We didn't expect her past to be so dark, but now we can't wait to learn more about her!
We can tell things are starting to set up for something big and we can't wait!! Season finale later this week!!

I just realized that this is first time we saw Inosuke’s swords changed color because he skipped this part of the process after he descended the Final Selection mountain quickly and got his initial swords via other means. 😅

2025-09-03 09:05:44 +0000 UTCSo basically in the flashback there was Shinobu, her sister and Kanao (Kocho Shinobu, Kocho Kanae who was Shinobu's sister and Kocho Kanao who is now Shinobu's Tsuguko) Kanae (Shinobu's sister) is dead as we learnt in last episode and they rescued Kanao in the flashback and gave her their family name Kocho (Kocho Kanao) since she did not have a name as we learnt in the flashback The other girls in the butterfly mansion are basically helping with trainings and other chores like taking care of the injured slayers and stuff I believe its basically Kanao's childhood trauma that she does not really speak and just follows orders (that's how her life was and that what she does in the corps as well..follows orders to kill demons) and uses the coin to make decisions as was suggested by Kanae (Shinobu's sister)..hopefully her heart will heal too Yes....Mugen Train Arc next...I am so excited for your reactions...hopefully you react to ep 1 and then the Movie...it would be a better sequence

2025-09-02 19:05:19 +0000 UTCYou didn't see the scene where tanjiros sword changes colour because it's gonna be the same colour. As far as I know the colour is always gonna be the same. The colour of the nichirin swords is very attuned to their user. You would have to be skilled enough to even make a colour appear. The colour of the nichirin sword depends on various factors like which breathing style, personality, spirit etc. For example yellow is connected to thunder breathing and Zenitsus sword is primarily yellow with lightning bolt designs running through the blade => representing his breathing style/fighting style etc. Tanjiros sword is black. When he got his sword for the first time it was mentioned that black is a very uncommon colour and rather mysterious.

Per this EP, Kanao is their adopted sister, and also Shinobu’s Tsuguko, which refers to talented demon slayers trained by a Hashira to be their successor. Meanwhile, the girl with pig tails who’s training the boys is Aoi. She and the 3 little girls help rehabilitate injured demon slayers who are recuperating in Shinobu’s Butterfly Mansion. 🦋🦋🦋
