Welcome back for episode 3 of Alice in Borderland. Last episode we met a lot of new players, and said goodbye to a lot of players! But we did learn more of the rules of the games. Still so much to learn so let's hop into today's episode.
What an episode! We have grown so attached to these characters in the first few episodes and we are feeling a little somber here. What's next for our players? We can't wait for next weeks episode to find out.

Great reaction! Losing the friends was definitely unexpected. And Arisu’s screams were gut-wrenching. But, as 1osaki explained, this was a hearts game, which, touched on by the real estate agent in episode 2, are designed to mess with you. This particular game is meant to play on people’s empathy. At first glance, everyone immediately turns on each other and the wolf wants to hide in order to survive. But then, after some reflection, they realize that it’s more about self-sacrifice and they have to choose collectively who will survive, thus why the lambs then WANT to hide. Even Shibuki. She didn’t trust Arisu and Karube, for whatever reason, but then after hearing how much Choto and Karube cared for Arisu, she realized that even she wasn’t worthy. So in the end, she chose sacrifice. Also, the crutch location is medically accurate. People always assume the opposite. But, that only applies if the leg is still usable. A broken leg that can’t support weight will need the crutch on same side to act as a surrogate leg.

2025-02-21 20:06:22 +0000 UTCThis episode was so sad. It’s a heart game so the end goal is to always just and see what you would really do in the end against ur friends. In the beginning it was all just them trying to hunt each other down to become the wolf because I mean who wouldn’t want to survive? But they each realized that they all care about each other but Chota & Karube wanted Arisu to live because they believe he has so much potential and he can survive the games. This game also was interesting because at first you would think it’s the lambs that would survive if they hide and the wolf would die but the twist was crazy
