You’ve brought up another EXCELLENT point about this storyline—congratulations, guys! Read the explanation below; it’s spoiler-free, and you won’t regret it. "What if Armin wasn’t an Eldian? What would have happened when they tried to transfer the Colossal Titan to him?" As far as we know, only Eldians transform into pure Titans when exposed to Titan spinal fluid. If Armin weren’t an Eldian, injecting him with the serum would have done nothing, and he would have simply died. The Ackermanns’ situation is a bit more complex. What we know is that the Ackermanns were the result of an experiment conducted by the Eldian Empire. The series doesn’t fully clarify their condition or all its implications (apart from "activation," "super strength," and a "spidey sense"), but there’s one thing we do know: Ackermanns are IMMUNE to the memory manipulation that the Founding Titan can perform. Remember when Kenny’s grandfather told him this at the beginning of Season 3? He didn’t explain WHY they are immune, but it seems to be a consequence of the experiments that created the Ackermanns. I think that the "Ackermann's cannot become Titans' derive from this, but I think the show doesn't explain this situation so much. Now, here’s another extremely interesting detail that proves Isayama is an incredible writer. Do you recall that Kenny’s grandfather mentioned that, aside from the Ackermanns, there was another "race" also immune to memory manipulation? And that this immunity led to their persecution by the island’s government? Remember which group this was? The Easterners! This persecution is the reason why Mikasa’s parents—her Ackermann father and her Eastern mother—ended up living alone in the forest. Here’s the big question: why were the Easterners immune to King Fritz’s memory manipulation? BECAUSE THEY AREN’T ELDIANS. Kiyomi Azumabito explained that "relatives of the Shogun" were left behind on the island, and Mikasa is descended from them. They are from Hizuru, meaning they are not Eldians. So yes, among the myriad of details, we know at least this much: the Easterners were a non-Eldian people, and they were persecuted for it. Back when we first learned about this, we couldn’t fully understand why the Easterners were hunted. While this was never officially explained, it now makes perfect sense.

You’ve made an excellent observation about Ksaver’s age compared to the ages of the warrior candidates in training. The truth is that the Warrior program was created relatively recently; we saw it being introduced to the Eldians shortly after Grisha married Dina. Although Isayama doesn’t delve into these details (at least as far as I remember), it’s possible that the method of selecting Titan shifters was different before the program’s inception. What we do know is that the Warrior program specifically aimed to use children—likely because they would raise less suspicion and be easier to manipulate—to infiltrate Paradis and obtain the Founding Titan. This certainly doesn't seem to have been the criterion by which Ksaver was chosen as the Beast Titan’s host. Another detail revealed by Ksaver is that his Beast Titan was "not very good in combat," which suggests that this was the inherent nature of his Titan: not particularly suited for battle. This likely changed when the Beast Titan came into Zeke’s hands, the "wonderboy."

Oh man the explosion at the end is brutal, to be honest i never was team Zeke i believe there is a better plan than the one that Zeke came up with. Waiting a whole week to find out what happened to Levi was tough (when this show was still airing), surely Levi is fine he survived worse, right? Interesting idea about the not Eldians inherenting Titan powers, i dont think Mikasa can even become a titan her mom was from the Oriental clan and her dad was from the Ackerman clan. I'm not 100% sure so i'll just leave it at that. Also you can watch the next intro but after episode 16 i recommend to not watch the intros. They have slight spoilers nothing massive but if you want to stay in the blind. It's time guys, get ready after the next episode this show will start going crazy! Been enjoying your videos and the shows you watch guys much love and happy christmas!

There is a famous meme about this episode. Everyone was saying that Gresha was an awful and careless dad to Zeke but was so kind and loving to Erin .

I think Mikasa is half Eldian on her father's side, who is an Ackermann. But remember that Ackermanns are unable to become Titan shifters. Also at 22:14 where Zeke says "Even when I'm a Titan, I'll remember you", he's talking about when his parents get found out about being restorationists. He knows if that happens then they will all be be turned into Titans, including him, and be sent over the wall in Paradis. That's why the doctor tells him he has to turn his parents in, so Zeke and his grandparents might be spared.

This episode changed my whole perspective on Zeke, like I don’t hate him, but I don’t love him. I just like him and I understand where he’s coming from, it’s not necessary that I agree with what he’s about to do, but I understand. I remember when this chapter came out. I was freaking out about Levi. I was like how can I wait one month to know what happened to him!!
