Welcome back! We hope everyones weekend is off to a great start. Today we have another episode of Attack on Titan for you. We have been ready for this episode since Tuesday's EPIC episode so let's jump straight in.
We were NOT emotionally ready for this one 😭. Fantastic writing. This second half of season 3 has been WILD!

just wanted to add, its not " her crew" she lost. it was showing Moblit, her right hand man through all the seasons, sacrificing himself for her :( very sad .

2024-10-20 19:20:41 +0000 UTComg i cry every time, especially when i see Floch carrying Eren away and he's reaching out for Armin like that part gets me so bad. And when you see Mikasa get emotional because until this point it is only shown her devotion to Eren that nobody thinks about how deep her feelings are for Armin. You also get a really nice recap of how powerful of a mind Armin has and how much hes really steered the story and accomplished for everyone. He is my favorite character and I love him <3 to think there is a whole fandom out there who hates him and to this day still think he is the wrong choice lol. I'm excited for the next episodes but OMG you guys are so close to s4, like this story only gets better and better so hold on tight !! <3

2024-10-19 18:45:07 +0000 UTCIf they didn’t pick armin it would have been the biggest loss. Armin has more to contribute to humanity. Things like leadership can be learnt over time but Armin’s intelligence and intuition is far superior to anyone in this show. Also Erwin’s greatest driving force was the basement. What happens after that? He doesnt really see a future beyond that. Which is why when eren says “he cares about more than fighting”, armin actually sees a hopeful future

2024-10-19 18:09:23 +0000 UTCIt's a pity that he hadn't more of a screen time, him being an assistant of a Crazy Hanji, trying to go on with her craziest ideas. His best scene was with Sanes, getting his hands off Hanji and introducing theirself at the same time. :)

He thought of what Kenny said, about everyone having their own dreams or goals that keep pushing you forward, so: They show Levi hearing conversation of 3 main chars, about seeing the sea together etc, so Levi knows what are Armins dreams. On the other hand they show what Erwins dreams are, that he only wants to go to basement to get the answer if there is really no humanity outside the walls. It's the reason of his fathers death too, so it's all he is devoted into and it's the only thing he wants to achieve no matter what! They are not so far from the basement, so when Erwins puts his hand up he realises, that knowing the truth about this world is all Erwin needs, and he doesn't even know what he wants to do after that, so its very narrow vision. Thats why he chooses Armin, whos perspective is wide and far ahead, and even after he get a sight of the sea, he mentions many other things there is to be seen. Levi bet on the one, which has much more "motivation fuel" to keep pushing him on. Erwins fuel tank is almost empty as he reaches his goal. Levi bet on a more distant dream.
