2024-03-21 04:16:19 +0000 UTCXIII and Max Payne would be the be the pinnacle examples of Visual Novel games. They are actually 3D games which tell tales through 2D cut scenes and 3D animated cut scenes. Then the actual player interactive parts are playing in First Person and Third Person perspective, still fleshing out elements of the story by the people and things that you encounter as you navigate the environment.

2024-03-20 16:15:45 +0000 UTCWith the exception of the ai chatbot (pure cancer) and mobile games I like games in all the other categories thb, but mostly rpgs. Safest for you, as an artist with a glaringly low release count, would be sticking with VNs for a while. Try to get more content out before going crazy with different other tools or engines. That being said, I can easily see porn rpg games with your characters in the future. Puppetmaster is already making a 3rd person game with his characters in Unreal.

2024-03-20 12:20:11 +0000 UTCNot sure if we’re talking about just gaming in general, or a sex oriented game. Clearly a sex oriented game would benefit from a more 3D FPS viewpoint.. but for a non sexually oriented game, i prefer the Baulders Gate perspective.
