The main production is on a separate pipeline, that's been repeated before. As for Patreon, it might seem counterintuitive, but having multiple irons in the fire at different phases of completion is exactly what leads to being able to churn out content at a regular pace. Most artists can't really do that to the scale that A3D has the potential of doing in terms of leveraging other artists. If they only ever worked on one image set at a time to completion before even beginning concept/lookdev on a new set, we'd see even worse output, no question. In terms of main productions over the past decade of A3D, one thing has been consistent, something always seems to happen on long term projects (G4E, G4E-Ex, Bloodlust, and Royal Descent) that causes a massive time overrun despite expectations of streamlining. This is probably the second time the store has been mentioned as a *potential* culprit. It's usually "once the store launches" or "once the store revamp launches, all attention will be on ". So the website would seem to be taking quite a bit of attention this year. Or not, we really won't know unless a transparent postmortem of the process is done.

In terms of continuity for this set, it's kind of obvious that Object Permanence Is Not A Thing™ because the artifact … dismantles itself in a glowing pillar of light … in order to turn a girl into a futanari. Part 2 pics 01-03 gloss over this in ways that aren't actually revealed until Part 5 pics 01-02. I consider this to be a kind of "cheating" by the artist/script, since the necessary depiction of HOW it works was deliberately cut to prevent the audience from having access to this all important information. It feels a lot like a badly written murder mystery where the author deliberately hides clues and information in ways that make it impossible to know whodunnit until the big reveal scene at the end, because the characters in the story "know things" that the audience never had a chance to learn for themselves. The Object Permanence Is Not A Thing™ aspect of this set also manifest itself in that the artifact basically appears and disappears with no real rhyme or reason. It's just a prop that the artist sometimes remembers to include in the scene, but usually forgets about. So the artifact is clearly hovering(!) above the stone pillar in Part 1 pics 16-17, 19, 25-26, 29-32 and again in Part 2 pics 01-02 but then vanishes from pic 03 onwards … including when Cerene is bent over the stone pillar and fucked in Part 3 pics 03 onwards all the way out to Part 4 pic 41. Then in Part 4 pic 42, Raven is suddenly holding the artifact (for no readily discernible reason). Where did it go? How did she get it back? Did she (literally) pull it out of her ass or something between Part 4 pics 41-42? Why was there no (visual) accounting for the whereabouts of this all important item between the beginning of Part 2 and the end of Part 4? So at the end of Part 4 in pics 42-47, Raven is holding the artifact and for reasons that make no sense whatsoever she lays the artifact on its side on the stone pillar (so it doesn't hover above it on autopilot like when she grabbed it in the first place) and seemingly TAUNTS Cerene with a dumb "if you want it you'll have to go through me" pose that utterly FAILS to prevent Cerene from "distracting" Raven long enough to grab the artifact … which is, let's be honest here, really stupid. The thing that I can't get over is the inconsistency of the artifact itself, because before it was floating in the air but now it just lays there on the pillar like a discarded christmas ornament. So now in Part 5 pic 01 we see the entirely too predictable outcome of Cerene picking up the artifact … but this time we get to see the release of "power" from it flowing into her crotch. Raven then puts on an unconvincing display of "what just happened?" in pics 02-03, that are (I suppose) supposed to tell us that Raven was being mind controlled (by her new genitalia no doubt) and that she has now been released from whatever was mind controlling her previously (or whatever, it's just really unclear). The sad part is that Part 5 pic 04 makes it obvious that the artifact has vanished AGAIN … presumably in the release of power that has now given Cerene her (smaller than Raven's) cock and balls. I guess that's what you get for sloppy seconds (or whatever). Both Raven and Cerene PRETEND to be surprised by this turn of events, but it's honestly QUITE unconvincing (the reactions are "right" but the situation collapses the "lies" that are being told by those reactions) … and then for no readily apparent reason, Raven loses all her nerve and tries to run … which all too predictably fails and she is all too easily "caught" by Cerene (who can seemingly "teleport" to catch Raven, despite Raven's apparent head start in their game of tackle tag). Cerene pins Raven down under her in Part 5 pics 11-14, in which Raven is mysteriously completely powerless and all too easily subdued. These images really beg for dialogue, or at least more context, because it's kind of obvious these two rivals would be talking to each other at this point. Cerene then drags Raven over to a sawed off tree stump (which at least isn't the stone pillar everything was happening at before) and positions Raven for a presumed revenge fucking … which Raven doesn't seem to be doing much of anything to stop or prevent from happening. The one image (which is really two) that I really wish there were more frames of from different camera angles and which could (and I'd argue should!) have taken this part of the photoset in a different direction would be the posing for Part 5 pics 13-14. You've got both a double titfuck AND frottage going on here(!!) … and you spend all of 1 frame on it because you're in such a hurry to stick Poles In Holes. I myself haven't reviewed AS11 ("Star") or AS14 ("Gaming"), but I know they're more light hearted concepts as well. Of those four, I think you're likely to see AS13 first, as look dev is nearly finished and we'll be previewing it sometime soon. As for whether or not to do the big Bloodlust post first or after... I don't know when the big Bloodlust update will be ready, but I know I can start giving you short text posts right away. In that regard, I think everyone who has asked for these types of updates would prefer we start right away rather than wait until unknown future date. I promise I won't be approaching it from the perspective of offering up empty PR, so you'll have to let me know if they feel meaningless once you've seen a few of them. Regarding some of the stuff you specifically asked for, it's unlikely for the bloodlust runtime, scene count, and positions to be shared in these short posts because those are things miro likes to keep close to his chest until the release event. That's not to say he won't change his mind, but he's told me and other patrons quite recently that he likes to save those for pre-release hype. As for percentages, I'll suggest it, but I don't think a rough estimate is a great idea. We either properly quantify what we've done and what we have left to do, and then provide a semi-accurate number with a full explanation, or we're just providing very meaningless numbers that are likely to confuse expectations. Lists with time estimates will be easier for us to provide on this current production, and then for the next one I can see about applying percentages to the whole process in pre-production. -Marie

re: hesitation - For us it's probably a combination of not wanting to pad and also the nature of our content being highly visual. When we've integrating content without a visual component in the past we've really scrutinized it to ensure it's content rich (e.g. audio update I did back in July). Doing less substantial text based posts will be new for us, but once we do a few it'll probably be less weird. re: polls - I know these come across as padding to some, but most of the time I think it's just miro wanting to gauge interest or engage with you. From my observation, miro just really likes polls, as he's been using them consistently since the release of G4E (surveys too). His like for polls is the reason Slushe.com had a poll feature before a lot of other key features. And honestly, it's not the worst idea to poll in porn when you consider how few people want to comment. I used to write casually for a gaming blog with similar traffic to A3D, and on that site comments on articles represented something like .1-1% of total readership. In porn, people are much more reluctant to comment, with comments representing something like .001-.0001% or less of the viewership. With polls being so low effort to interact with, it can help fill in the feedback gap. Btw that call for idea post is a legitimage call for ideas, we just haven't pushed go on it yet. Maybe we jumped the gun on it a little, but the intent is to comb through it when our lookdev artists are getting close to finished on the environments for image sets already in the pipeline. When you have updates with the kind of info I'm giving examples of above coming out every week, explaining what has been accomplished in the previous week … you reduce the opportunities for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt to take root and flourish. Even if there's nothing to "see" in the way of finished work (or even a demo of current work), simply revealing the kinds of (and quantity of) thing(s) that have been accomplished in the previous week lends a sense of trust and security to the belief that time and resources are not being squandered. Better to have some limited information that can inspire confidence than to have NO information that can inspire conspiracy theories to fill the void of evidence and information. My main thing to any of what was stated by them is I hope this time.... it actually sticks, not 1-2 months of doing so then randomly stopping that tends to be the outcome of several changes or new approaches. While this is 100% a good thing (Finally after years tbh) I can't be the only one in having my doubts that this shall last, HOWEVER I'd like to be proven wrong here. That being said I'm hopeful that they will stick to this not fully though.. On a side note of sort..... actual content does seriously need to pick up in output, for video based content mainly animations there is some for sure being held back that are either done/damn near it to the point where releasing is probably ok, there is also tests that should be put out in a post. EVEN if it's not up to standard post it with some form of disclaimer stating it's a WIP or abandoned. I'd totally understand the apprehension about text only posts with no visual content. Could be seen as padding by some, but that's essentially how polls/contest posts come across anyway when it's the only content that comes across the feed in a 2 week period. So the hesitation on making a simple weekly post dedicated to managing expectations (especially when a window is going to be missed) is a bit strange. E.g https://www.patreon.com/posts/suggest-your-41577989 I'm not sure I'd count some text detailing a contest underneath an image from a set we've already seen as any more substantive than a text only update informing people there was a mishap and to expect delays.
