WIP Train #35 - Sophia's Voice Samples
Added 2020-02-26 16:00:04 +0000 UTCOur voice actress Ko Clover stepped into the role of the duchess for Blood Crown and we're interested to hear what you think of her sound. Marie whipped together voice samples of Ko, which you can find attached to this post.
The voice pack contains 4 audio samples. The first sample contains a few snippets of Sophia's lines in Blood Crown. The second contains some bloopers, which we thought were cute. The third contains moaning samples from when Ko is playing Sophia's part in the CyPunk animations and from the 2019 holiday greeting. The last one contains moaning samples during which Ko is voicing different characters for other artists' productions.
This voice pack should give you a good idea of Ko's vocal range. :)

I think the subject matter of this release calls for a slightly more commanding presence out of Sophia as well and Ko seems to have captured that pretty well while also not going overboard. She still retains that delicate, princess like demeanor that defined Sophia over the last few releases.

2020-02-27 00:51:33 +0000 UTCSolid overall, she does a decent job being similar to Pip and since Ko is around quite a bit with other projects the void won't come and take her unlike some people.... Only slight gripe not a large one is her higher tones sound very different from the original, lower pitches are close enough to let fly imo, suppose this too, sucking noises always have been a bit lacking with you peeps, tends to be sounding to dry or like a person is sucking a wet balloon.

"I guess will have to do this a nudder time?" :P Having said that, Ko is definitely sounding like a worthy replacement. One thing I didn't care for, in clip 3 from 0:39 on...that was kind of terrible. Like Adria Rae levels of over the top phony. Oh and the sucking in clip 4. Miro, bubby, if Sophia doesn't do some sucking so I can hear more of THAT. I riot.
