ANIMATIC CLIP: A Second Life Appears
Added 2025-09-13 07:39:26 +0000 UTC48 seconds from the recently completed SONIC'S FIRST LIFE animatic! I'll talk about where production is at now.
This is the first interaction between the First and Second Lives. It's actually very reminiscent of Sonic Clone Chaos, isn't it? Reverent callback or derivative tripe? Ah, I think it's pretty different, but there are some elements in common for sure.
I think my favorite little bit of this is something I had to add in revisions. See, right now, even though I finished a draft of the animatic, there were some notes that I have to go back and address. One of these revisions involved adding the very last shot of the Sonic with the holes punctured in his face. I like the little bit of acting there, where he's feeling the wound on his forehead before realizing he doesn't have eyes. It's a little sad, I guess. I just like how I drew it!
I'm not sure when they want this video to be done, but I'm hoping it gets out before the year's end. Right now, it's just about addressing all the revisions, which I hope to have done over the weekend.
