You are insanely beautiful just as you are! If we could see ourselves as others do we would be so much happier. YOU saying that is total proof to me that none of us women are happy with ourselves as we are. Thank you for the watercolor instructions! I have just started to dabble in this medium and I so enjoy it.

2024-08-31 02:09:48 +0000 UTCWatercolour is, generally, playing with water you tint with paint and layering it, so people who want a crisp and true colour addition generally grab other mediums to finish things off. (a white paint marker, waterproof black ink, etc)

2024-08-26 00:37:39 +0000 UTCIf you find you have difficulties keeping the paper very white for highlights etc there is a product called masking fluid. You paint that on your lightest areas before you start and it acts as a resist. When you've finished and the piece is dry you remove it with an eraser and you have very clear whites. If you mix white into your colours they will get more opaque and you loose the distinctive look of water colours.

2024-08-25 21:06:49 +0000 UTCPouf looked so cute. I think that your problem the the whites is that unlike other media like oils you start with the lightest colours with the paper being the white. The white water colour is only used very sparingly at the very end. When I was taught at art school we weren't allowed white at all!
