I imagine there's a fantastic light fixutre to go there too. I said to myself, of course she does! Christine wouldn't go to all that and stick in some boring LED light! We figured this out halfway through a restoration on our wedding cake plaster ceiling and it was transformative sooooo much easier to work with and they make premixed compound that sets up at different rates.

I've given up on a few projects of restoration for my 1932 home-not repairs, just things I would like to put back to original- because it takes 2 people and I have no one. And handyman or contractors here are very unreliable or booked out 3 years!

Your moldings, wallpaper, furniture, carved wood pieces, paintings, skeletons, jack o’lanterns, silk plants, clocks, a tiny axe and maybe a 1:12 scale captive and pets. Haha. The Christine McConnell Playhouse of Terror! That way, we could all pretend to be as creative and detail oriented as you are without the time and money commitment to a giant old house.
