Being able to make vector illustrations is an amazing thing; since vectors are infinitely scalable (unlike pixel-based images). You can also make pattern swatches in Illustrator. By default, vector lines are very clean and uniform, (maybe TOO crisp for some of your purposes), but you can apply artistic brushes to the linework to make it look hand-drawn :)

Press onto the wallpaper, You can then try to remove the wallpaper and the laminate will protect the paper from chipping.

2023-03-04 18:17:28 +0000 UTCJust WOW 😍 it's STUNNING and haunting all at the same time. I love owls and rats. My daughter and I run a sanctuary and we rescued 9 rats. Never had any experience with them but they are the sweetest, most darling little beings and sooooo clean. In the end they were free roaming in the house with our 6 cats and dog and never once did we have any issues. They always went to their little litter trays but were very sneaky at stealing food. We would do a weekly food hunt for the cats and dog food☺️ I'm so excited about seeing this room all finished. It's going to be exquisite 🖤🖤

In awe of your patience to taper each bit after like that!

I used to have an HP Scanjet 4670 vertical scanner during my landscape arch. program that allowed me to scan any surface vertical or horizontal, and I feel like you need something like this in case you find any more wallpaper to restore. They have them on eBay sometimes, it might be worth looking into for future projects. Instead of tracing, you could have just scanned the wall! You might need to figure out drivers to get it to work, but the captive seems pretty computer savvy. Love the videos, can't wait to see the guest room!

One of the rats has a branch (or something) coming out of his hip, it seems. The rat is the one hanging onto the branch from below. What is it supposed to be? I’ve surprisingly never seen The Secret of Nimh, despite being a huge fan of cartoons and those childhood nostalgia movies, but my husband has been wanting me to see it so I think I will indulge! I’ve got a new digital version I’ve made and am planning on updating the color palette and reprinting it. I work entirely in Adobe Illustrator, though, which I think you might like, Christine. Especially for line work like this. A lot of what you had to do in Photoshop can be automated.

I was just watching a video of Kirsten Dunst with her decorator showing off her LA home and they have a fox paper in her son’s room that has little mice in it. I thought it was soooo cute.
