Will the color swatches be uploaded like the ones for the wallpaper? I would love to try this on my 1910 Victorian. I have lots of trim that needs work. I would love to see the color swatches

I do one thing and I spot something else I want to do. I went to paint my living room - now I've decided the ceiling in the hallway should be the same colour. But the plaster isn't perfect so the edges are rough.. now I'm installing coving in the hallway too.. I just got done with that. On to the next thing. Some days I honestly just want to say f*ck it 😂 and just give up, but your patience and fastidious approach to your huge, gorgeous house makes me think, you know what, I can tackle this apartment.

I live in a typical old building from 1900 in Berlin and there are some furnitures I have which I want to turn from IKEA white to wood. All I could find online was not satisfying Now I finally know how I can achieve this! Thank you so much 🥀 I also have a mango wood boho look paravent at home I would love to turn into a rococo (or victorian) paravent. Just in case you run out of inspiration one day 😁

It is so so much easier to add character to a newer house than restore character in an older house. Restoring things back to their former glory is such a meticulous process but you are the most meticulous person I have ever seen so you are the perfect owner for this house.

2022-10-23 20:47:56 +0000 UTCI was trying to count how many times you went over the trim to achieve this result. You had three different colors, so, three times there. You warmed it up with a color wash, so that's four. Then you did two coats of polyurethane. I imagine you did some touch up in areas, but a conservative number is at least six. The amount of work and dedication you put in each project just blows me away!

I'm happy that you are not afraid to hand paint with the Createx airbrush paints. They really are versatile and durable. Thank you for another beautifully crafted episode Christine! All of the untouched wood in our house is so beautiful! I thought for a moment that this could be my answer, but I think this might be even more complicated for me than stripping decades of paint and refinishing!
