I am the exact same way Christine. I am constantly telling my own captive that I want one. And he thinks I'm so funny for it. I had a corded phone until I was 13 I think. And then we got cordless. For the first 9 years of my life we had a rotary phone. I love them so much. So I share your excitement. If I had your number I would exclusively call you on the landline. haha

I have posted lots of photos of her on my Instagram from her youth. Doing the split and posing in all sorts of fabulous clothes.

It is the house museum of a 18th century architect and collector. He basically built the house around his collection and it is filled to the brink of curiosities and antiques . It's beautiful. It's free but smart to book tickets ahead to avoid line. You can also book a tour in advance to see the family rooms. Have fun!!!

You as Mis Havisham would be a riot! You should watch Great Expectations from the 1946. Most of the versions are good, but the old one is the best. You can mak a spider web decaying wedding cake, etc.

There’s a great article from Smithsonian Magazine from October 2013 that shows and talks about the bejeweled skeletons of Catholocism. I’m not religious, I just like dead things. This will allow you to use buses, the underground and water taxis. You can put money on the card from home or there are machines at underground station entrances. I'm not sure if you will have time to have the cards posted to you but I'm sure you can buy them in London.

I was extremely fortunate to visit Europe in my early 20's on a world wind jam packed (many countries not much time) budget Contiki tour, and I met a dashing Australian there named Mick. Alas, our romance was not meant to be (I met my person a smidge later when I was 23)! Switzerland is the most beautiful place I have ever been to in my entire life. Even if you don't like chocolate EAT THE CHOCOLATE THERE preferably while enjoying the view of Lake Lucerne...sorry I don't know why I'm being so bossy LOL. If you have the chance to go to the top of Mt. Titlis in Switzerland go. It is magical and wonderful, and yes that's the weirdo name of that Swiss mountain. Yodel, be ridiculous, silly, and twirl around like Julie Andrews in "The Sound of Music." Wish I could post some embarrassing travel photos on here! Have the best time! Also FYI, I think you can tour the original Downtown Abbey house in UK!
