I am using Duolingo to relearn a couple of languages I already speak and brush up on diction and pronunciation for a couple of others (I am an opera singer). I have to say, in the two languages I already knew (one of which I was fluent in for most of my life), I am completely lost!!!! I bought an 1865 Victorian mansion a few months ago that I’m restoring. It didn’t have a kitchen so the original owners used a smokehouse on the property. We had to build the entire kitchen. Fun fact: My Second Cousin, three times removed, was Hudson Allison. He, his wife, daughter, son (baby) and maid were first class passengers on the Titanic. Only the baby and the maid survived. I have visited the grave/monument in Chesterville Ontario (where he was born and where my mother's family, last name Allison, is from). My birthday is April 15th, 1:15 am. I believe the Titanic sank around that time or a little after (in 1912), having been struck by ice on the 14th. I of course, was not born in 1912 :), but even long before I found out about the connection, I had always been intrigued by that disaster as though it has been personal to me. His story is on Wiki but my sister did a family tree a number of years back which is how I know where he and I fit in relation to one another on that same tree. You can play the hidden object games on a pc or laptop. My husband is a gamer and I haven't really gotten into them. His mom showed me the HOS games and I love them. You follow the story and and uncover the mystery or story through puzzles and well... hidden object games. lol That might be something to look into. The games are getting harder to find. FYI Also if you look up on YouTube and Instagram, follow Dandy Wellington. Him and his band are doing a cruise from the UK to New York. I don't remember when. He's a part of (or founder) the #vintagestylenotvintagevalues community. I think you would love it. If you can go.

I also decided to learn a language this year, spanish! I took it multiple years growing up but never became fluid. I have been using Duolingo too bc the free version is still pretty good. Also, Mango is another app I downloaded through my library, which is really good. Some libraries will also have subscriptions for Rosetta stone, but there tends to be a waitlist

I'm sure the eye surgery will go perfectly! Sometimes the worst things in life are when certain big (or scary) events are just hanging in midair. I've helped my husband and mother through multiple big surgeries and the waiting for those to come and pass was the hardest part of those! They of course recovered beautifully as will you. Also I wanted you to know that as an artist, you have inspired me to paint and draw again (after a lengthy years long break... long story). Thank you for that, and thank you for also bravely paving the way for other artists to be bold with their work-through that we see on Patreon that the world has wonderfully opened itself to artists now like never before. Also, when COVID is no longer such a thing, I have heard that the Christmas Markets in Montreal (Quebec) are LEGENDARY and oh so festive! Maybe for next year, eh? I was an exchange student for a bit in Quebec and dialectical differences aside, it is a lovely place. Highly recommend!

I found out how to do a lot of things on my TV and computer during the last livestream address. Maybe this can also help some other people. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have premium YouTube so I don't have to deal with commercials. 1. How to watch it on your TV while the livestream is going: Tap the screen on your tablet or computer so you see a "watch later" option in the upper right corner. Go to your YouTube app on your TV. Go to the furthest left column that gives you a list of options, scroll down and pick "Library". From there pick "Watch Later". Then pick Christine's livestream that you just put in there. 2. To be able to comment while watching on TV: Keep the live stream going on your tablet or computer while you are watching on the TV but turn the sound all the way down on one of them. I turned it down on my tablet because my TV has better sound. Now touch the screen on your tablet again and you will see the logo YouTube come on the screen. Touch that logo and it will take you to YouTube where you will be able to comment and Christine will be able to see you there. If you comment here on Patreon, she cannot see your post during the livestream. So this is how you can watch her livestreams on TV and comment at the same time. I hope this can help someone else. 😃
