Remember the bats hibernate part of the year, the rest of the time they can be very elusive or even move to another part of the house or be in another area like the coach house, a tree or the house next door. In the UK very often one shouldn’t even cut an old tree down without a bat survey.

Amanda

Can we know more about the Catholic hospital 🙏🏽🖤✨

Julia

I learned staple guns are fun but also very dangerous 😁

Julia

OIL Painting yes😻

Sam Hussey

Iove the wallpaper idea!

Claudia

I am sure Christine can do better, but take a look on-line at Trustworth Studio's Reproduction 19th c. Wallpapers. Two of them are creepy - Bat and Poppy and The Demon patterns. I know I've seen C.F.A. Voysey reproduction papers with pretty yet creepy bats too. Google it. He was a 19th century Architect, furniture & textile designer.

Gwyn Ronsick

Also, love the new post! It always makes my day when one of your posts is in my in-box!

Gwyn Ronsick

Christine you ask about what type your fabric might be,,,, it looks like a Garment Weight Cotton Gauze or perhaps a Cotton Double Gauze from here. A wonderful fabric yet not too expensive.

Gwyn Ronsick

Wallpaper designed by you to buy?! YES!

Jamie Porter

I just realized I have the same tea set as you! I found it at an estate sale recently and I thought it looked familiar.

Alie The Artist

I am so excited to see what you come up with for the wallpaper! It is hard to find pretty spooky things that you can use in your home. Spoonflower can be very expensive for wallpaper, I have purchased some of their fabrics, but they were smaller pieces to recover some stools.

Krissy Smith

Absolutely yes on the wallpaper! I have been looking for a historic discreetly spooky print that isn’t tacky for my home, and I know you would make an incredible print!

Danielle Hughson

Thank you so much for sharing this! I want to see it before it is taken down. Is it Foxwood buying the land?

Lysa Marzo

Me too! Christine merch please <3 Imagine the stationary...

Victoria Aubrey

A twofer movie night situation...sounds fab to me! :)

Jenny McKinsey

I would love to have merch to buy that has Christine’s logo on it.

Desiree Coon

YES for the wallpaper! Anyone knows the type of Dremel tool Christine uses?

Elizabeth Goldkind

Love "The Shining" good suggestion, although it is 2 1/2 hours long, lol. A 2 part movie night perhaps?

Tabatha Redar

Yaaaay for Fall fun! Also creating a wallpaper line could be amazing! I think working with a production company is a great call simply because your workload calendar is seemingly extensively booked as is. Sometimes it's a good call to delegate, where you have input and creative control, but the bigger details are handled by someone else! I personally am inclined to take on too much myself and then I get completely overwhelmed/tired/frazzled. Don't be like me! Lol. We are all equipped with only so many metaphorical "spoons" meaning mental, emotional, and physical reserves of energy reserved to carry out whatever we do. If you're unsure what I'm referring to, you can read more here: https://butyoudontlooksick.com/articles/written-by-christine/the-spoon-theory/ As for movie night fun I am a total sucker every Fall for "The Shining." I have a personal connection to the film (long story) and I watch it every year with my hubs-luckily we both adore each other ;). It's super great horror, but it's also really great art!

Jenny McKinsey

Haha same! I had Patreon on constant refresh! Looking forward to it

Rochelle

I'm sure it will be amazing, per usual! Take your time girl! Xoxo!

Tabatha Redar

Hello! I JUST finished the form this morning and will now start editing the episode :D Can't wait for you to see it in a few days :)))

Christine McConnell

SAME. I keep checking for anything hahah

Ashley Lucero

I keep checking to see if the final dress form video is up... can't wait to see how it turns out!

Tabatha Redar

Another illustrator here … what I've found is that you can use the pen-type styluses to teach your hand and arm how to draw digitally, but after awhile, you'll become adept at just using any old mouse, or even a power-mouse. Digital styluses are like the training wheels. I've heard that verified by a lot of other artists too. But whatever works best for you!!

Stephanie

Make your own lamps and shades!

Stephanie

Definitely go for a boutique wall paper company, not Spoonflower. I don't believe you can have as much brand growth at Spoonflower.

Stephanie

Does anyone else keep periodically coming back and refreshing to see if anything new is uploaded? 😂😭 I look forward to Christine’s content so much

Ashley Lucero

Yes, to a Salem vlog. The city is the best fun!

Welikemeatloaf

My favorite psychological thriller.

Bat-A-Boo

Suggestion for a movie night… The Changling (1980) with George C. Scott. Available on the y’all tube. Heres a review from movie critic Frank Miller: The next time critics hail some third-rate horror film as intelligent and scary (which means it’s usually neither) simply because it doesn’t have a lot of blood, they should be made to watch Peter Medak’s gem of a haunted house thriller THE CHANGELING (1980). A slow burn film that’s as much about exploring the psychology of grief as scaring the audience, the film features a terrific George C. Scott performance as a composer trying to recover from the deaths of his wife and daughter in a freak accident. He relocates to Seattle, where he rents an historic mansion from Trish Van Devere, only to uncover evidence of another dead child, this one out for revenge. It’s filled with wonderful, spooky touches: a quiet séance in which the medium speaks in a near monotone while scribbling out automatic writing, a ghostly voice that can only be heard on the tape recording of the séance, a ball that keeps reappearing, even after Scott throws it in the river. The film is a treat for the senses, with beautiful, autumnal cinematography by John Coquillon and an effective score by Rick Wilkins and Howard Blake. Melvyn Douglas has a great supporting turn as a corrupt senator, and Scott gets possibly the ultimate George C. Scott line, addressed to the ghost of a child, no less: “You goddamn son of a bitch! What is it you want!?!?”

Janet Metzger

If you are looking for creepy old sanitariums on the east coast come to Preston CT- there is a very creepy old campus there!!! Soon to be bought by the casinos nearby, but still mostly up and very cool looking. Plus it's a gorgeous drive :)

Cassandra Cyr

I would LOVE to see a Salem vlog! It was my dream to go for my 30th birthday but my partner and I are having to save for fertility treatment so won't be able to sadly, but I feel like a virtual Christine tour would be the next best thing!

Martha Thursday

I would DIE if you made wallpaper. And then crawl back out of the after life, just so I could buy some. 😅

Nicole Weeks

Please make the wallpaper available for us! OMG! That would be so perfect.

Rhiannon Frater

Yes to wallpaper!

Theresa Clay

Well if she doesn't believe in witchcraft at least the witches believe in her <3

Selene

Are you sure you don’t believe in witchcraft? You have a doll kept in an iron cage further protected by a symbol of a spider. That’s witchcraft. I would love to see your wallpaper designs and yes to another oil painting. You are an outstanding talent! 💕🌸🥰

Carla Morgan

You should team up with House of Hackney for a collab - https://www.houseofhackney.com/us

WYTCH WOOD

Yes please more oil paintings 😀

Jennifer Allingham Foti

I would love it if you made your own wall paper !!!!!

Melissa

It de-gloved your glove. Honestly I think you wearing the glove saved you.

Lissy London

I would absolutely love it if you made another oil paiting episode 🥰

Clara Salzmann

Yes to wallpaper! Also I would be an entire line of housewares. Linens, dishes, furniture, rugs, curtains, teapots, picture frames. Basically anything. Target produced that special line of Halloween stuff last year. I could totally see a Christine McConnell “everyday elegant and beautiful but subtly creepy” Halloween line. But the sort of decor you can keep up year round.

Ken Gerleve

Yes to all of the questions you asked. I would buy just about anything you would make to sell. I also love Death Becomes Her.

Katelynn VanGrinsven

To the photography question, my girlfriend screamed YES!!! She said it was so good.

Colleen

YES TO THE WALLPAPER!!! Could you possibly make a fancy and an inexpensive option?

Awen (Ah-when) Waters

A million times yes!!😂

Ace&Otis

Sculpting from cardboard is ingenious in itself, the dress form is just a huge extra.

Ace&Otis

There is a local wallpaper manufacturer in Buffalo called Red Disk. They collaborate with artists all over the region!

Natalie LaBayen

The dress form is way over my head…. Still a fun episode to watch…. I have a purchased one. I pad up to be my size.

cassie ward

I just watched this! (I never make it to the actual live stream unfortunately. :( ) But, YES, I am a professional illustrator and animator and a Cintiq is the best purchase I have made! Honestly, for my career, even better than my expensive, comfortable desk chair. If you need tips, tricks, advice on which one to buy or how to use etc... I would be happy to help! Huion also makes great more affordable drawing monitors, but Cintiq's really are the best if you can afford one!

Carolina Kowalczyk

Christine! Yes to all the project ideas you shared in this livestream!! Just last week I was looking for inspiration /decor for Halloween and I thought it’d be so cool if you had your own brand , no one has your unique spooky classy style! Wall paper, home decor, interior paints, kitchen supplies, glassware , drinkware, bedding… you get the picture ! I would buy it all!!🦇❤️

DB

I agree. Amazing to watch the dress makers mannequin but way over my patience to achieve. I really love the small Halloween crafts. The Christmas spider was great. More stuff like this please 🎃🎃🎃

Keely

I know there is an hashtag on instagram but I fotgot it... I think it is christinecreations or something

Guiomar Martins

Christine, PrintedSpace.com might be an idea as well. I specialise, live and work in the historical museums, and I know printed space has made authentic Victorian print linoleum and wallpapers—just a tip. Cheers.

Raquel Carter

Hello Christine! I am thrilled to join you and help a tiny bit. I have watched Everything you have shared and I love love loved your Netflix show! Your new is spectacular! I glad you kept your other perfect home as well. WOW! Im here and without words! hahahahha! xo Debi in Ontario Canada

Debra Livsey

I hope you and your community are safe from the flooding and storms. 🖤

Elizabeth Goans

As a photographer myself I would love to see more photography videos but any video you do is amazing. Sending love from Kentucky

Amanda Smith

So talented and I always enjoy the live streams.

DMCM

Oh, man.. of course you had a Dremel drama in the first livestream that airs after I started to use mine. I got form fitting gloves, but now I’ve got to research.

Gincredible

yes, Voltier from Gothic Homemaking did his own wallpaper. His stuff isn't my cup of tea but its nice. You should definitely do that! I already noticed stores selling pillows similar to the ones you made in the forest house as halloween decor.

katie scott

😳for use on his nipples that is😳

Katherine

When she made the boxes for the neighbors and Mr. Ketchum showed up. Rose joked that she was going to use that wax on Mr. Ketchum.

Katherine

I saw recently that there is an old abandoned psychiatric hospital near you in Utika NY. They say it's super haunted!!!!

Killian Kincaide

I use an XP Pen display tablet. It's much cheaper and just as good as a Cintiq.

Loree Morin

It’s there. It’s the one where she puts together the gift basket.

Lauren M

The dress form episode was fascinating, but yea I’m not doing that 😹 Can’t wait for all the Halloween stuff 🎉🎃

Lauren M

You guys, Christine keeps mentioning an episode on Netflix where she made candles. Am I living in another universe or what? Where is that episode?? I have 6 episodes of one season here on Netflix. Is there more?!?

Rūta Kavaliauskienė

Have you ever seen the penny dreadful series?

Liz

He is located on the East Coast as well, not sure if close to you or not

Mistletoe_kiss of Voidal Space

Would love to see more of the photography videos but would also love to see more of your video taping process as well :)

Sophia Z

Trustworth is a wallpaper company who does vintage reproductions, he may be able to do the paper as he does all of it in house

Mistletoe_kiss of Voidal Space

to the wallpaper idea.... DEAR GOD YES

Kari Bellamy

Photography + photoshop episode was awesome!!!

Charm

I would love more photography episodes! I like the idea of wallpaper too, but more fabric! That is really exciting to me because I'm a quilter. I'm looking forward to it all of these ideas. It is fun to do the smaller projects alongside you.

Vicky Neish

I can't find wallpaper I like anywhere. It would be amazing to be able to purchase some with one of your beautiful designs!

Elliot Stoll

I would absolutely love some more photography content!

Charlotte

Christine, I use spoon flower to make my own wallpaper from my artwork.

Raquel Carter

Yes! This is THE route to go! I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Betsy Ann

I pour beeswax candles.

Lesterle Meyer

P,S. The prison is haunted!!!!!! Sooooooooooooo be prepared!

Lesterle Meyer

Center City Philadelphia Pa has a so called prison. You have to take the tour during Halloween. Make sure you bring a friend to hold onto!!!

Lesterle Meyer

Have you gotten your Victorian house saged yet?

Lesterle Meyer

I would like you to design a artifical eye prsothesis for me. I want a hand-painted eye from you. I lost my other one, my dog ate it and as of now, I have a hole in my head where an eye should be, This is a true situation, I need help. Phila Pa (Fort Washington)

Lesterle Meyer

Watching late but your dress form episode(s) solved a huge problem for me on my own projects (automatons) so nothing you do is wasted. Thank you!

Charity Damon

I couldn't tell on your video, do you shine your silver teapot set or any silver items?

Lesterle Meyer

I love the wallpaper idea !! :) it’ll be so cool to buy it. I can’t wait for Halloween different projects it’s gonna be so so cool. About the dress form episodes, even if I can’t do it for sure :D, you’re so talented that just watching during this process of creating is amazing

Cindy

I love thrift store shopping and i was lucky to find a desk antique lamp for $25! Turns out it was a Duffner and Kimberly brand, the teapot iron stand with the little man's face on the handle is amazing! The cord was cut but my dad fixed it and wala it works! I use it daily and it's right in front of my computer, it's so beautiful.

Bella

Please. 😁🥰

VStreet

MAKE THE WALLPAPER THAT WE CAN BUY! 🙌🙌🙌🙌

VStreet

If it makes you feel better about the dressform, my sculpting mentor uses that technique in her work. So if it's not a dress form, it's still a wonderful and valuable fine art technique!

Amanda Williams

Spoonflower - you’ve got to look at them more in depth. You can design your own digital patterns for your self then you can offer the pattern in your own “shop”. Patterns can be printed as multiple types & materials of wall paper & a ton of different fabrics from chiffon to mid weight cottons to heavy outdoor canvases. The have training videos on how to tessellated repeat patterns etc. They are located right here in Durham NC! They ship anywhere. As fir expense - that is dependent on which fiber content & weave of fabric you choose. Also look at reproduction wallpapers especially from Bradbury & Bradbury especially fir your period of house. These are screen printed & works of art! The colors are fabulous. Samples are inexpensive to really see how special these papers are. Adelphi Papers uses wood blocks & period presses & reproduces by copying real period papers. You maybe could have had them reproduce the dining room paper then they add it to their for sale list. They license papers from places like Old Sturbridge Village, etc. you could mix some of these reproduction art papers with some of your own design from Spoonflower….. I am a Preservation Interior Designer & highly recommend the above😀!

Gwyn Ronsick

Please do another oil painting! That was how I first found you. It was awesome to watch and see the beautiful result.

Alyne Whiteswan

I absolutely love to watch you paint so I'm all in!

Elisa H Messore

NightshadeButterfly

So nice to see your post. I am asking for an owl project or something "owl". I was hoping the Halloween card could include an owl.

Judy K. Zamlen-Spotts

Good deal, thanks!

Kerry McKeever

Thanks so much! I'll definitely be there. And thanks for all you do as a nurse!

Kerry McKeever

She did not mention a craft-along. I think it will just be a chatty catching up with everyone livestream

rachemus

Thank you! 💫 nice to meet you too 🤩

Kristin

Kerry McKeever, she will previously list it if we are all doing a project for live stream or movie night. Christine is just going to gab and answer questions and tell us stories. It great you will love it!!! She makes everyone feel special!!! Welcome. I think everyone's brain is a work in progress this pandemic, I'm a nurse and I feel like a zombie most days lol.

Killian Kincaide

I know how you feel, it’s 3am in Romania too. :(

Carmen G. P.

I'm new here and I miiiiiight be a little dense (my brain is a work in progress 🥴), but I can't seem to find the info for this livestream. Is it a craft-along?

Lily

Literally the ONLY person I will pay to watch. My all time favorite influencer!!

Sarah Jones

Would it be at all possible to change up the times of the livestreams sometimes please? I’m in the UK and my situation means staying up until 1am isn’t possible, and I hate missing out on watching them live! 😔 I’ll of course look forward to watching it back tomorrow, but hope I’ll be able to join in with a livestream soon. I know it must be pretty impossible trying to factor in all the different time zones! 🖤

Lily

I’ll be here.

John & Michelle

Good luck with your surgery. (Hugs)
