Movie Night Poll!

Hello!

I hope you're liking the dining room series of episodes! ... A new one is coming tomorrow morning!

In the meantime, I wanted to gauge your thoughts on the Movie Night we did in February and see if this is something I should do again?

If the response is positive, please leave a movie suggestion in the comments and I'll make a plan from there! Also let me know if you liked the crafting element I did, or if you would prefer if my attention was more focused on talking about the movie, petting cats and eating junk food?

-Christine

Comments

That sounds AMAZING! I love Nosferatu and in my house everyday is Halloween!!! :)

helen crawford

Seconding Crimson Peak, which is one of my absolute favorite movies. Other good ones would include Sleepy Hollow or Jane Eyre

Sierra

Before Covid, a theater where I live did "Silent Movie Mondays," that I terribly miss. For a small fee, they would play a silent movie and would usually fly in an organist who would play on the theater's Wurlitzer organ. In the spring/summer they would play romances and comedies. In the autumn, they'd play the old horror movies. This may be a little more Halloweenish, but I think the 1922 silent movie Nosferatu would be fun. It's also free on YouTube, so everyone should have easy access.

Lindsey

Crimson Peak! Or anything really. I miss movie nights with my friends and my partner doesn’t like talking while we watch so I need some McConnell pod movie night vibes! Just chilling chatting and snacking 😊

Bartimaeus Cosberry

Crimson Peak!

Alesandra

Beetlejuice

Kelsie Baranski

What we do in the shadows!!!!!!! (So good)

Kelsie Baranski

I seem to recall that you mentioned you like The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. That's one of my all-time favorite movies. I had such a crush on Captain Gregg as a kid.

Ann Robertson Prince

How about Coraline? It's creepy and takes place in a beautiful old mansion. I also recommend "What we do in the Shadows".

Monserrate Hernandez

Practical Magick would be lovely

Chere Hughes

Arsenic and Old Lace

Kate

I LOVE the silent version of the Golem plus The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari!!!

Anvil Ande'

New patron here. I'm not good with horror movies -I see a lot of those in the comments- but would love to watch the Addams Family movies. Both are great. 🖤

elidocorc

That is how I feel. I will just have to catch the ones that I can - if I see it coming far enough ahead to plan.

Sonja Kraner

Van Helsing!

Maggie Proffitt

I'm a solid maybe on the movie night - In theory I LOVE the idea of hanging out and watching a movie with everyone in the McConnell pod, but I often can't make the original live stream. Going back to watch a 2+ hour live stream tends to be tough for me to catch up on during the business of general life stuff. :)

The Lady Kwiller

Ooo, not sure if others suggested it yet, but the movie, Mama by Guillermo del Toro is amazing. I think one of the best creepy movies of all time, IMHO.

Nerdyfae

Honestly, I'm down for anything you think of. You are so engaging and enthusiastic, it makes me excited for anything you suggest, even if it wouldn't have chosen it on my own for a craft to research. If you love it, you will present it in such a fun, creative way, that we will love it. ❤️

Nerdyfae

Laura would be an awesome one to watch!! ☺️✨ Or anything else Vincent Price really

Samantha DeJong

How about the birds!!!? 👀🦇🦅🦇🦅🦇🦅

Jessica Irons

Movie, cats, junk food ;)

Jessica Irons

omg 🤣🤣🤣

Lauren M

I know it may be hard to do but I would love it if we could watch Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant. I know its a very old black and white movie but it is my FAVORITE and it is a very lighthearted dark comedy that I think everyone would like.

Dawn Campbell

Death Becomes Her! It’s fun to just hang out together

Lyndsey Zeller

The birds

Teresita sedano

The Conjuring!

Anneka Edgeman

Missed this movie night darn it. The Changeling from 1980 was the eeriest movie I've experienced

Angie Miller

Will you pick a movie currently on Netflix or Hulu so it's easier for all of us to watch along? Thank you! I loved the last one (I wasn't able to watch along, but I've seen it a million times and i knew what you guys were talking about so it was still fun)

Liz Ard

Something spooky like The Innocents or The Haunting from the '60s

Howard Carson

I was not a Patreon yet but it sounds interesting.

Claudia Perez

I loved the movie night! It feels so nice to be connected to you and the community. How about a Hitchcock classic like "Marnie", "Rear Window" or "Vertigo"?

MariaPapira

I would prefer no “instructional” crafting. If you show us how to do something, it’s hard for us to search through the video to revisit a specific step in the process. Alternatively, if you need to do a bunch of tedious work on a small project (like working on some embroidery), then it could be like having a crafting night while watching a movie.

Leslie

A Tim Burton movie? Maybe Beetlejuice? I would also love to rewatch Crimson Peak.

Sandy

OO! I second The Shining

Amber Hafferman

Got to be the original cut, not the 88 minute one!

Mina Murray

I was going to suggest you do PIP of the movie too. It helps everyone be able to follow along abd just have everything on one device. Other than that, I LOVED movie night! My suggestions for the next one are either The Shining or maybe something extra campy like Gremlins 😁

Erica Oliva

You mean Secret Window. Rear Window is the Hitchcock film with James Stewart and Grace Kelly (and a great suggestion).

Mina Murray

Me too!

Ashley

I would love to watch a Dario Argento movie next time! Like Bird with the Crystal Plumage or Phenomena (with 14 year old Jennifer Connelly)!

Brieann Chapple

I would absolutely love to watch movie The Omen (1976). I was so scared when I first watched it as a kid. I am sure it would be a great movie to watch together.

MiLora Tur

I wasn't able to catch the live stream but I did watch the video later. I didn't watch the movie along with it but I like to listen to your past live streams while cooking or doing projects that I can keep my eyes off a bit here and there. When I can plan and catch a live stream I always enjoy it. I just enjoy anything you do!

Marie c

I don't know if this has been suggested, but The Love Witch is a great one!

Ginger Corriell

Any pre 2000s movie you suggest ! An older hidden gem or classic !

Ashley Bee

Movie was fun. It felt like you had us over your place to hang out and talk .Like a sleepover.

Ashley Bee

This Movies are very good 👍 Pet Sematery 1989 , Thinner , Geralds Game from Netflix and 1922 from Netflix ☺️💖

An Sivertsen

Copyright issues prevent this from happening. But there are a lot of great movies in the public domain now that she would be able to display without legal issues!

Miss Adrian Lee

I enjoy watching what ever you do and I am loving the dining room series. Movie night was ok and if it is easier for you then by all means do it again. Since I would be overwhelmed with a new home and especially with all the history included, I'm surprised you have time to do any videos! Xox

Oaknwichlane June G

I really enjoyed the movie night and hair tutorial. I just wish there was a way for you to display the movie from your end so we can see it too. Even if just a thumbnail to the right of the screen so we see you and a thumbnail of the movie as it plays. I would love to watch BRAM STOKERS DRACULA with you live stream, Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves and Wynona Ryder are all exquisite in the film. What do you think? ;) You are doing a great job with the livestreams and projects, just amaxing and so much fun :) - from Eugene Oregon, but im a native orange countian lol

Kim K

Thirteen ghosts, psycho, dark shadows, corpse bride,

Rudy Bonilla

Vincent Price, House on Haunted Hill

SarahAnn Harvey

I like this idea.

Katelynn VanGrinsven

I really enjoyed the last movie night :-) a Saturday is an obvious choice due to work etc. I absolutely adore the film Practical Magic and 90s classic The Craft! Speaking of crafts, maybe an easy option so we can talk, craft and concentrate on the movie would be to design a tarot card that people feel represents them....could be a bit of spooky fun?!

Yvonne Rodgers

Mr. Scratch suggests The House by the Cemetery. I've never seen the movie, but I've been to the house -- it's here in MA.

Mina Murray

So many great movie sggestions! I was thinkng about "The Ghost And Mrs. Muir"

Lisa Kay Brown

I would love to watch Suspiria (the first one)

Rex AM

I think Rear Window could be cool and maybe there could be a cool how to on Grace Kelly's makeup or the fashion. Just thoughts. I am so excited for whatever Christine picks. These are the highlights of helping me get through this pandemic! Thanks Christine!! 🤓

Kelsey Hourigan

It Happened One Night, Arsenic and Old Lace, Beetlejuice, The Birds, North By Northwest, Casablanca, Woman of the Year.... I’m excited! I somehow missed the last movie night, but this sounds entirely delightful! Obviously I have a thing for old movies, but... I’d probably watch anything with you all. ❤️🥰❤️

Hayley Stephens

love the movie night as you did last time, but just chatting would work well too! movie suggestion: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Famke Hagedoorn

I thought a scary movie was a great choice of course. Beside being most of our styles probably, that genre is usually one you need company for =)

Coll

Love this idea!

Gorgon's Eye

I loved the last movie night exactly how it was ❤️

Clara Salzmann

That is my all time favorite movie!🖤🖤

Heather

Let’s watch beetlejuice and make sculptures!

Heather

Who are these 294 people who have no soul? LOL 😆

Rez NYC

Sleepy Hollow....Its so New England. Or The Haunting , 1960s version.

Alyne Whiteswan

Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh. Yes, its a real movie. And right now we’re in luck because someone posted it on youtube. It’s so bad, its good. Trust us. No, really. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFGGst5ayxc

Janet Metzger

What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams (not a comedy), Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stokers Dracula or Nightmare on Elm Street. How about doing a “color along”. You draw something that we can print out and all color together as we watch the movie and chit chat. It’s something to do but has a relaxing mindlessness to it that doesn’t require a lot of focus. I see that someone commented about having a movie ticket. So having a “movie ticket” that has a drawing referencing the movie we watch that we can print out and color. Would make a great thing to do each time we livestream a movie together.

Joyce Oestman

Movie, chat and 🍿. Poltergeist, Alien, anything with Vincent Price or David Bowie or by Tim Burton.

Jerilyn Campbell

Funny horror movies Shawn of the dead or Tucker and Dale vs Evil!

Rosa Falciano

Shutter Island or Princess Bride ( during Halloween you should do sleepy hollow or hocus pocus!)

Rosa Falciano

I really like this idea! Seconded

Samantha Farrell

I’d prefer just chatting about the movie. I found it hard to focus on 2 different things at once (the movie and your craft) and ended up watching the movie and the livestream separately.

Nadine Jagdeo

Instead of a craft, could you design a movie ticket that we could download and print?  I used to hold on to a lot of my ticket stubs as little souvenirs.  Since most events are virtual now, a "Christine McConnell Cinema Scarité" ticket would be a nifty keepsake :)

Krysti

Absolutely loved it! Anything you choose is great!

Jenny Vasquez

There are so many great suggestions here already. I'll throw in Labyrinth, and the original Wicker Man with Christopher Lee

Michelle W

"Ready or Not" - Very macabre. May be a bit much. I don't know if I can post links on here, so I will politely err on the side of caution. The trailer is on YouTube. Love that movie!!! Another option I have is "Murder On the Orient Express" written by Agatha Christie. That's a gem!

Annalise

Practical Magic ♥

Mji X

Practical Magic, because of the stunning and dreamy set design!

Carrie A.

Loved movie night!

Eric D

Agreed. ❤️

The Homesick Brit

Death becomes her 🖤 The Shining 🖤 The Craft🖤

Plaguedoctor 13

Cats, chatting, and snacks sound great to me! A craft upstages the movie too much. As for movies, Crimson Peak, Dark Shadows, The Shining, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, or any of the Paranormal Activity movies.

Stephanie Ervin

i'll love which ever one you choose!

Michelle Ford-Copley

Hello. I'm a new patron so I wasn't here for the first movie, but it sounds cool. I'd like to see a Vincent Price movie like the House of Wax or The Masque of the Red Death.

Penny Walker

I love movie night! It would be fun just to chill and watch movie and eat junk food :) Or maybe have a special guest like your mom come join us. I don't care what movie :)

Paige A Flash

Themed movie snacks sound fabulous! Movie recommendations: Death On the Nile (MiaFarrow version), Deathtrap (Michael Caine), and The Others ( Nicole Kidman).

Laura Atkins

Clue would be so fun!

Rachel

For a movie I would vote for The Love Witch, really anything horror or Tim Burton movies! Movie snacks or even themed movie snack prep would be fun.

Whitney Haddad

The Shining! I think a craft is a little too much to focus on at the same time, unless it's very simple. Maybe we could all doodle something or someone we like from the movie.

Tiffany Lydon

It's best when not too much is going on. Movies/Chatting/Snacks is plenty. Maybe make a quick snack before the movie begins?? I would stick with an oldie but goodie movie since we're watching from a historic home...Vincent Price, one of the classic monsters, Hitchcock...you get the point.

Sophia Z

If you could find a copy of the original ‘Carnival of the Souls’ might be fun and moody

Diane plevelich

Practical Magic is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. Definitely should be on the list of future movie nights 😁

Ryan McFadden

The Witches or The Witches of Eastwick

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

Doctor Sleep

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

The Witch or The Awakening!

Elizabeth Lee

The movie night was awesome! My vote would be for something scarier - The Ring, Exorcist, The Shining, etc. OR something super B-movie and/or old-timey. I love the crafting element but maybe something more passive like an embroidery project so you don't have to instruct the whole time? Send instructions ahead of time? I just want you to enjoy the movie too!

Lisa Donohue

Crimson Peak, Sleepy Hallow or Death Becomes Her.

Athena Pennington

My vote is for Clue 😁

Jayme Ramones

Thanks Amber :)

Suzanne

Maybe a short snack demo ala "Let's all go to the movies" style, and then watch a fun movie with your full attention and of course some love for your furry little ones. Perhaps continue the Hannibal saga, Death Becomes Her or Coraline?

Hanna

The ‘Burbs (dark comedy) or an episode or two of Twin Peaks (the original series) - I suppose I’m suggesting dark comedies haha

Hailey Corton

Love these suggestions!

Amber

Housebound (2014)

Melissa Lewis

I'd love it if you would do a 'Watch Along' of "Death Becomes Her", it's one of my favorites. As far as crafting as you watch goes I am happy either way, so go ham! :D

Alice Morgan

I've never seen Crimson Peak, or Twin Peaks, so either of those would be awesome. However, something a little more lighthearted might be fun too- possibly What We Do In The Shadows?

Samantha Huth

👍🏼

Ace&Otis

Yes!

Tammi Harris-Crocheted Atrocities

Sleepy Hollow!

Alexandra Quiachon

Love a craft along too during the movie! Makes it so enjoyable! :)

Linda Asano

I LOVED movie night . But i would love the hang out and just watch the movie together . Anything scary would fit the bill but I vote for the blair witch project .

Marnie Mohr

Please watch ”Clue”, it’s one of my all time faves. Would love to see you relax with the kitties and have movie snacks, while chatting about the movie snd answering some q&a.

Carrie

I honestly didn't watch the movie, I just loved being a part of it and hanging with Christine. I would love to strongly suggest "Bell Book and Candle". I think its perfect if Christine hasn't watch it. It has witches, amazing 1960's fashion, great actors, Kim Novak, Jimmy Stewart and Jack Lemon, a love story, creepiness, spells, a powerful mysterious woman at lead and an AMAZING cat (Pyewacket). I would love to request we do/learn some embroidery. I've always wanted to learn how to embroider my initials in a fancy way.

Suzanne

Alister here, my mom and I would love that, I think it would be better if your attention was on the film though. As for films my dad sujested "The Others", my mom sujested "Arsnic and Old Lace", as for me I would enjoy "Incidious", and "Pultergist" from all of us.

Mum(Krissy) Sun(Alister)

The Woman in Black.

Dippie Hippie

The Shining

Elise Layne

Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Sleepy Hollow

Taylor Lockhart-Lang

Crimson Peak

Taylor Lockhart-Lang

Love all your videos!! Like others, would probably enjoy watching along to you talking as we watch paint dry together. Keep up the great work!!!

Ashley

Rosemary's Baby, the original Amityville Horror, Rocky Horror Pic Show, Ed Wood, Bram Stoker Dracula.

Ashley

Crimson Peak, Sleepy Hollow. Crafting something at the same time is fun but your comments on the movie have priority. 😊 I had so much fun last time!

Sylvie

Lizzie Borden with Christina Ricci

Timothy Burnett

Movie suggestions..... The Witch (2015), The Fog (1980), The Gift (2015), The Others (2001)

Timothy Burnett

More focused on the movie and professor Poof

Timothy Burnett

Ohhh I like both (the ending of the original!!) but the musical has my heart

Natasha Rolnick

Crimson peak! And I'm good with just gibber jabber and junk food 😁

Sarah Kane

Crimson peak!

Jess Acton

Aliens, the lost boys, what lies beneath

Sam Hussey

Sleepy hollow 🥰🥰

Adam Gibson

I liked the crafting element but i wouldnt mind just watching the movie either, both sound like fun to me :) Movie suggestion: Addams Family, Jennifer's Body, Elvira

Famke Hagedoorn

The Others, Ouija Origin of Evil, The Awakening, The Gift, or The Woman in Black

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

What Jung said: Alien and cooking or crafting

Michelle Lofthouse

Ghost Story or The Fog are good ones too.

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

How about cooking something inspired by the movie-or a craft inspired by the movie. We are happy with whatever you decide.

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

I like all your videos-crafting or movie watch all good

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

Movie Suggestions: The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh-The Love Witch, Possum, Crimson Peak, Bram Stroker Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, Dark Shadows, Susperia by Dario Argento, May, Murder on the Orient Express, The Fall, Pet Sementary, La Lllorna on Shudder. Hey you like Helter Skeletor - How about Wolves at the Door, or Eye of the Devil with Sharon Tate, or another good one is The Innocence with Deborah Kerr.

Cheryl Kirkpatrick

Only Lovers Left Alive, yes to crafting

Rahkhell

I enjoy both the crafting and the movie night. I am usually cooking or crafting while watching the live stream. What about Alien?

Skeleton Jung

I would love to do crimson peak. I’m in the U.K. though so I was hoping we could do it at a time where it means I won’t be up super late as I unfortunately fell asleep the last time 😂 I think I’d prefer it to just be the movie night as well ☺️ 💕

Bryony

It was great last time, but the crafting element was difficult to follow in parallel. Cats and chats are more than enough!

Nikki

I like movie night. I don't need a craft, just blabbing and watching it together.

vermont witch

I think Dracula or Mark of the vampire :)

Hermine-Virginie Simon

I don’t think you got to enjoy the movie because you were trying to do the extensions as well so I think just a fun movie night and chat! Seven is a great movie always worth a chat about. Also the Bone Collector is a good one. Probably anything really! ❤️

Rachael

Cats and talking, rather than crafting as whilst I love the crafting, it needs to be separate! :)

Léonie Sableblanc

Something spooky. Like an old Frankenstein, mummy, maybe the invisible man. Cats yes and talking.

April Brockman

Something spooky maybe Bram Stoker's Dracula or Trick or Treat

Hannah

And yeah I’m happy without the crafting if it’s less pressure.

Rachel Guy-Whittle

It was so much fun. I was watching The Thing last night and thinking of it for a Movie Night oddly enough! If there’s any chance of it being a Saturday or Friday for a lot of us in Europe that would be fab as the normal Sunday eve there is super super late Sunday here.

Rachel Guy-Whittle

I loved the crafting/movie combo. I vote for Rosemary's Baby or the original Stepford Wives but really I'm sure I'll love whatever we end up with.

Pamela White

Rebecca

Sonja Tompkins

The Univited 1944 with Ruth Hussey and Ray Milland, or The Haunting 1963. Both great haunted house movies!!! 👻

Susan Garcia

I loved the crafting! There are so many good horror movies it’s hard to choose but you can never go wrong with anything Vincent Price! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Tonya

I didn’t see the last one, but a craft and a movie sounds fun. And my vote is for Arsenic and Old Lace!

Ren Manley

Love crafting!..movies Rosemarys baby ghost & mrs muir golden girls..I don’t like scary movies

Karen

Crimson Peak!!!! And crafting while talking about the movie and petting cats and dog. But a simple craft that you don't have to give any instruction for, maybe just embroidering the scarecrow that's on your intro.

Aunt Debbie Halloween

I loved the crafting cuz I don't watch scary movies.

Tamara Connolly

I would adore watching Sleepy Hollow. I havent watched it in so long.

Kaitlyn Von Hausen

Too difficult for me with my disabled child (who doesn’t sleep a lot) to follow this kind of cool event, but it’s a great idea :)

Cindy

Psycho or the original Fright Night

Karri Thompson

I say sit back with the fur babies, pop some popcorn and talk about the movie while you watch it. I’m all for leisurely videos and you don’t have to craft if you aren’t up to it. Happy either way 🙂

Ryan McFadden

You should watch “Death Becomes Her”

Ryan McFadden

Clue!!!

Kaitlyn

the movie was fun, I would say skip the craft :)

Stefanie Correia

The movie part was great! I don’t think you need to also do a craft! Just enjoy the film and chatting with us!!!

David

The Others would be so very apropos

Tim Binns

I'd prefer not crafting during. Less pressure on you and simpler. Also then we can talk more about the movie.

Abby

Donnie Darko

Sabrina Ramirez

Not a movie suggestion, but a craft suggestion 😊 I think doing a wardian case terrarium would be cool. They look slightly creepy and are in keeping with the time period of your home's age.

Rachel Renz

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

Sabrina Ramirez

Zodiac. Or Seven. 😉

Gabriel Gonçalves

Beetlejuice!!

KR Mullikin

Nicole Kidman and our CMcC share a beautiful poise.

Anna

Omg, someone suggested The Golden Girls and I’m totally here for it 👵🏼✨

Ruby Topete

Craft along is cool! Keep the craft simple in my opinion.

Rez NYC

Rosemary's Baby! When COVID is over, can you invite Amy Sedaris over for crafting/movie night?

Christine Mooers

I liked the craft along being included. It’s like a 2 for 1!

Ellerie “Sit in Your Tears” Maddox

Ghost and Mrs Muir with a crafting element would be fun too....

Carey Netzloff

I liked the crafting alongside the movie. Any Tim Burton movie or The Craft is always a good choice!

Jennifer Gabris

Practical Magic or Rosemary's Baby. I really enjoyed the craft along and would enjoy Q and A at the end or the beginning.

Mononoke Adams

I’m in for Practical Magic or The Others. (Honestly, I’m in for whatever the final decision is. It’ll be a fab time no matter what.)

The Homesick Brit

Practical Magic

Brand Graber

Okay, jumping in at the bottom of a long list of comments but YES, would love to do a movie night again! I don't craft but I chill and watch what you're doing and listen to the movie. I love the suggestions like: Woman in Black, Zodiac, The Shining. Also want to suggest one most have not seen: The Changeling with George C. Scott. One of the best haunted house movies ever made. I am a super fan of the genre and it's my all-time fave! It's available for free on YT. Can't say enough about it, and Christine, your Captive would love it too. The main character is a pianist and the movie's score is hauntingly beautiful. Another classic is The Haunting with Julie Harris, but I don't think it's available without purchase. Whatever works for everyone else, works for me!

Tracy Thomson

I would select “The Cabin in the Woods,” “Lair of the White Worm” or go old school with “The Haunting.” I say craft away or do your best Mystery Science Theater 3000 impression.

Scott Herin

Great idea!

Andrea Moore

I did! It was great! I was skepitcal about making the characters family but it worked well.

Andrea Moore

Maybe craft along or a movie night. For me, it was a little tough when all I wanted was the crafting info. I had to wait through the movie talk to get to the next step.

Jennifer Kavjian

I love the craft along to a movie idea! It also sounds like fun to have a giant Q&A night too. I think if we did another movie night, we should anything Tim Burton, Creepshows, or old school Tales from the Crypt! It would be fun to hear your thoughts about some of these films and shows! Also, just a thought...it might be cool to do a craft along with the choice of 3 different projects. You could choose 3 different, relatively easy projects that you put up the plans and supplies for, maybe a 5-10 min video on trouble shooting, etc...Then on craft along night we could ask questions, you could show off the finished projects, and it could be a cool sharing type experience? Also it would be neato to do a seance or something in your cool belfry!!!👻

Jessica Darne

Legend (Ridley Scott)

Vanessa Emmott

I like a lot of the films being recommended. Even doing Scream or something like that would be fun!

Christina

Crimson Peak! ♥️

Zoe

I love Practical Magic or Austenland!

Devon Herchenroeder

The Addams Family or Addams Family Values. (How could I not suggest that?) Maybe a simple craft -- something we can all do while watching the movie that doesn't take too much concentration.

Mina Murray

Adams Family is a good one too!☠️🖤💜

Alexandria Ball

OMG! Practical Magic ✨ is a Great idea!!!

Alexandria Ball

Maybe it would be cool to just have an "everyone work on their own thing if they want" kind of craft party, which is pretty low-pressure? I think it would be fun to watch either one of the Addams Family movies.

Aurelea River

Let's watch Zodiac! 😉

Kathleen Rear

Another vote for craft and practical magic.

Vicky

I think movie night would work without trying to do instruction. Doing a craft would work but without instruction. We all could be bring something we are working on. I would really love to have you revisit the subject of hair perhaps combined with other tips and tricks but without the distraction of the movie. I am sure you were overwhelmed and scattered with all that was going on to stay focused. I know you wanted to watch the movie. Sometimes less is more. You did an awesome job under the circumstances. It was wonderful to see the Golden Girls glasses and pitcher that you gifted yourself for Christmas!

Pamela Kay

I think just chatting, etc. would be fun at least to try. Nightbreed! The Craft!

Kate Peltier

Another vote for crafting and Clue!

Vixi Vale

Love that idea!

Jessica Pray

Beetlejuice, Practical Magic or Clue

Desiree Coon

Yes to Crafting. Pride & Prejudice! (I have the special edition, great minds..🤨)

Ace&Otis

Did watch the TV show of Haunting of Hill House? Whew it was good!

Desiree Coon

Rear window by Stephen King starring Johnny Depp

Linda

Rosemarys baby - the shining - the Good son - mommy dearest - grey gardens - grand Budapest hotel

Jasmin Haugstuen P

Would you consider a classic, like the thin man? Or even a silent movie like the original nosferatu. Maybe a haunted house flik

Elizabeth Dale

The Others (my absolute favorite movie)! I'd be down for a simpler craft like embroidery or crocheting, otherwise I'd vote to stick with cats and junk food.

colleen quinn

So many good suggestions. I’m down for anything ! Can’t wait

Jasmin Haugstuen P

Truly enjoyed it, altho I didn't watch the movie, and I worked on my own craft project (hand lettering a book of my favorite Halloween poems)

Dragonwalker

How about The Woman in Black? It's so atmospheric!

Robin M.

Sleepy Hollow, Lost Boys, Alien, The Craft. I'm down for whatever!

Ashley

Death Becomes Her! Also, crafts are always fun!

2OddRavens

LABYRINTH!!💜 Love Death Becomes Her Practical Magic - I think the commentary is fun, so definitely pick something *you* like to watch & discuss. Golden Girls I'm down for, too. And Film Noir; old Twilight Zone episodes, Hitchcock, Portrait of Jennie, Rocky Horror

Mardi Shakti

Yes I love the crafting ideas , gone with the wind for movie night

Laura Pennington

Any great suspenseful movie! Crafting or not .....maybe not,...it's hard to focus on the movie, chatting and crafting at the same time. How about baking something and sharing a recipe?

Lisa Ames

Clue would be really fun! I think it would be nice for you to just relax and enjoy the show!

Kristina Mann

Maybe not again right away unless you’re totally burned out and need an easy fun activity for March

Karl Beck

No crafting so you can focus on movie chit chat, preferably a movie you love. Alien? Halloween?

Kimberly

I didn’t know about the movie night!!

Angela Howard

Beetlejuice and a Black and White craft. Like a candle stick? With banana chips and tropical beverage until the DayO dance party

Melisa Miller

How about the Haunted Mansion.

Laurene Sapienza

I would like Suspicion, Rebecca, North by Northwest or Wait Until Dark. All good suspense movies.

Tandy Slater

Maybe we can do a simple painting and a movie!? That would be so fun! You should choose one of your favorite movies! I would really enjoy the golden girls w/ you. I have never seen it :)

Marina salinas

Yes I agree ! Practical Magic!!!♥️

Laurene Sapienza

Movie night was great! I liked it best when we were watching together and chatting about the movie. If people liked crafting, maybe we could make a cocktail or snack together beforehand? The One I Love and The Thing have been on our to watch list for a while.

Ryan the GM

Clue would be fun to watch😁💜

Sabrina Darling

I love when you craft and I love movie night. I think it was a lot for you to go back and forth. I honestly think YOU would enjoy it more if you just sit back and watch the movie with us. I think it’s a bit distracting to go back and forth. I say eat popcorn with us and sit back and enjoy! It’s totally juggling when you’re reading our comments, watching a movie, and crafting. But you know I’m in for whatever everyone wants, no matter what! My movie ideals would be The Shining, Trick ‘r Treat, Silver Bullet, Lost Boys.

Tim Metcalf

Addams Family? 😊

Gretchen

I don't have a movie suggestion, but I loved the crafting time with the movie.

Monica Adams

I’d love a cocktail and app night with you demonstrating a few ideas for easy summer entertaining.

Carol Blum

Since the captive makes excellent popcorn, maybe have him/you share two popcorn variation recipes and a popcorn ball recipe before the movie starts, then you guide a decorate the popcorn balls with a scary pattern(s) that we all have in advance. Maybe patterns that tie into the movie/TV show that is selected.

Debbie Holland

The Craft 1996 version

Rez NYC

Oh! Or the original Wicker Man!! One of my all-time favorite movies! Not the Nic Cage one (which is hilarious, of course, and mind-numbingly bad), but the one with Sir Christopher Lee!

Smitten Kitten

Loved the movie hangout. My vote would be for Practical magic.

Crystal Zwicker

Loved movie night! Another classic, like Rosemary’s Baby...?

Paige Phoa

Lmao but it's a crafty film! 🤣🤣

Claudia Linder

I absolutely LOVE all your content and feel bad that I can’t get behind movie night. I’m glad to see I’m the minority however, because I really want to support all you offer. But for me personally, the movie night didn’t work. That being said, maybe if it was an old Hollywood movie I’d get behind it.

DarkMoon

Noooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lauren M

Another non-holiday but never gets old Mrs. Doubtfire.

Dawn Klemn-Thomson

I love everything you do, i cld watch you watch paint dry and id be into it. Wld love to hear more of your thoughts and experiences about that specific movie or times in ur life when u first saw it, etc., or any inside knowledge of ppl in the film, or fun facts you know. Easy craft wld be cool. Whatever you pick will be fun!

Liv Hexanberry

S’mores!!

Lori Bo

Prob best around Halloween but Rocky Horror Picture Show or Sleepy Hollow. Another idea would be a Marathon of The Golden Girls (maybe Christine’s 4 Fav episodes) or The Golden Palace, since it was only one season. I’d say just watching and eating junk food. Christine can maybe post a list of suggested things for Patreon Members to bake or mocktails to make to drink during the viewing party or for each episode. Other favorite non-holiday movies would be The Bird Cage or Devil Wears Prada.

Dawn Klemn-Thomson

Clue

Christine Manca

I loved movie night! My movie suggestion is The Woman in Black 👻

Lauren M

Love the suggestion of Crimson Peak!

Kate Dalar

Crimson Peak...Simple craft...or just catching up with you is fine. I love hearing your stories and seeing the fur babies!

Sandra Martinez

Coraline - the childhood movie that made me love creepy things

V

I liked doing a craft along with the movie but see many are saying it was too much. Another patreon member made a great suggestion which I second; post an easy craft on here for those who want to do that during the movie. This way everyone has a choice. Movie suggestions; Phantom of the Paradise, a great old movie from the 70's with a huge cult following; The Addams Family movies, Practical Magic, The Haunting of Hill House (1999 version) the house is incredible!

Andrea Moore

Oh this would be a good choice!

Kimberlee Peterson

I think a small craft or snack making movie themed is a great idea.

Luciikwe

The Wizard of Oz

Rune Acton

Willard

Kimberlee Peterson

The Craft, pride and prejudice, Dark Shadows, nightmare on elm street, Halloween, Dracula

Vanessa Jaramillo

Maybe some light crafting, like something a Girl Scout could do...I’m nowhere near crafty enough to even attempt your projects myself...something easy would be great! It could be mostly gabbing and snacking, with just a lil’ extra somethin’ that you can refer back to during slow parts of a movie.

Julia

Crimson Peak!!

Amanda Leib

Yes to the craft! Crimson Peak would be amazing and maybe a series like Penny Dreadful, do two episodes and keep it going once a month

Nicole Duarte

The movie was too scary for me though :( so I just listened.

Samantha McDonald

Tusk!

Claudia Linder

Crafty craft and The Ghost and Mrs. Miur!!

BreeKal19

Clue would be great!

87denalm .

Any hammer film.. classic vampires

Heidi Eschedor

CLUE.

Sonya Colley

Love Golden Girls or Pride and Prejudice (with Kiera Knightly) as my vote. I can’t do straight horror and had to sit the last one out cuz I’m a scaredy cat...But I can do something like the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which has a touch of horror and dark themes but comic relief and love interests.

Jessica Bunce

I loved Barnabas Collins from the old series " Dark Shadow.s," Could rewatch episodes again

Lynn

This was a fun thing to do if you're crunched for time and want to do something low key! I like the crafting element. A simple craft that is fun and easy to explain may be best so you can also watch the movie (to a certain extent)! Movie Ideas: Crimson Peak, Labyrinth, Drop Dead Fred, Death Becomes Her, Stonehearst Asylum, Psycho, Spellbound... any other Hitchcock movie!

Alexandra Conrad

The love witch too

katie scott

full disclosure i'd love to watch the o.g. Beetlejuice movie with everyone, but they have a point - Crimson Peak also rocks!

Kitti Lumpo

I like the craft element.

Sara Weinberg

April fools day could be fun

katie scott

I wasn’t available but I’d love to next time!

Chance havins

Movie, cats, and junk food for me. I would also love to see Crimson Peak

Jo Alexandria

YES!!! So many for your list: would love to watch Death Becomes Her, Elvira, Crimson Peak, Sleepy Hollow!

Random Onlooker

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark is fun,and campy

Sherry McGinn

Shared junk food forms a bond ❤

Hope Ohana

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark,

Ken Gerleve

Crimson peak or The shining please. It doesn't matter whether you want to do any crafting or not. But if you come up with something, I'd love to see it. I'll be trying to sculpt something on my end probably so I'd honestly just be happy for company.

Katherine

Dying waiting for dress form video!

Suzanna Dunn

Maybe Golden Girls?! Would love to watch it with you! And a craft project to go along with it?? We could all wear chenille robes, eat cheesecake and embroider something awesome! Isn't GG available on Hulu and there is a free trial so we could all watch the same episodes!

Jill Poudrette

CRIMSON PEAK!!!!

ProlificComplainer

Crimson peak would be awesome I love the aesthetics, for an oldie but goldie I like house of usher or classic 90’s Scream

Harriet

A black and white film would be fun and maybe a beauty related DIY. A creepy movie inspired body lotion or cream

Christina Titus

Brittany Marie, thanks. Sorry I should have checked before I suggested it. I thought she might be able to. But I think she could still do it on Discord.

Orealgreenleaf

YES on an easy craft! And movie Crimson Peak or The Shining. I havent seen either movie so it would be fun to watch it with you for the first time!!🖤💜🖤💜

Danielle Gutierrez

The craft element was great! I would vote for crimson peak or death becomes her!

Kathryn Wolfe

I think you have a way of making us feel welcome and at home no matter what you do. I enjoy the cats and snacks. It was interesting having the craft too. My choice for a movie would be Rosemary's Baby but I am up for anything.

Debra Palermo

The covenant

Melissa Baxter

Movie suggestion! Death Becomes Her 💖

Pippa

A movie is fine but I hope you keep the crafting element in.

July1979

Crimson Peak or some other stylish gothic flick.

Kristine Byrne

The Exorcist! :)

Kyra Partida

I vote for Love at First Bite or Crimson Peak...and junk food! :D

Sara Jenkins

You could watch a Vincent Price movie, making a dish from his cookbook. Also, vote for Dark Shadows or The Others. Any dark movie with a simple craft works for me.

Amanda Lovell

Loved the craft along element definitely, my movie vote would be Crimson Peak!

Adam Pritchett Needleworks

I love Knives Out or Clue if you want a funnier movie. Aesthetically I love Crimson Peak or the Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movies

Brenna Larkin

Movie night wasnt my thing. Sorry to say I didn't watch that episode.

Patricia Kelly

It was so great last time! Movie suggestions: - The Addams Family (1991) - The Three Lives of Thomasina (1963) - Beetlejuice (1988) - The Phantom of the Opera (2004) - Labyrinth (1986) - The Craft (1996) - The Witch (2015)

Mackenzie Cail

Movie night with all of the junk food, please! Beetle juice, Addams Family, anything Vincent Price...

Rachael Becker

I don't mind the crafting even though it's beyond my skill level and patience, but I would prefer you just focused on the movie and comments. I couldn't pay attention to everything at once because I like reading everyone's comments also.

Nicole Williams

Ghost and Mrs Muir or something similar with a spooky romantic vibe.

Phillip Guinn

I vote focus on the movie AND a New England themed movie. As your neighbor to the north... anything Steven King... like Dolores Claiborne

Lucy Wolski

Vincent Price movie night :)

Amy (Izzy) Star

Loved movie night! You should show May!! She sews... 😉😉

Anne Uzelac

I vote for the fun yet scary zombie movie Warm Bodies.

Starra Andrews

Addams Family!!! YES!

Barbara Cochran

As a thought, if some want crafts and others don't why not prerelease some simple craft instruction video ahead of time and then let those who want to craft along during the video and afterward send pictures to Christine or post on the Discord? As for videos if whatever video is selected is PG-13 or below it will let us watch it with younger members of our families. Personally I like many of the suggestions made and I'm always up for any Addam's Family movies. Or Pride and Prejudice, I love Jane Austin. Mind you the best version is the A&E one that is 5 hours...

Lady Barronmore

Perfume...the movie.

Desiree Glinden

Craft along to The Craft!

Angie Loyd

Although Movie Night isn’t for me, I stuck with it. I was nervous for you trying to do two things at the same time. So, maybe one thing at a time. I’ll give Movie Night another try. LOVE the dining room series!!! Continue creating!!

Barbara Cochran

I loved movie night! Love crafting too but not if it takes away from your enjoyment of the movie! I like to knit or crochet while I watch movies 👵🏻 less thinking but hands still moving. My suggestions for movie would be: The Shining, The Innocents (1961), or The Visit 😱

Tamara Gotovac

The Others, The Shining, Rebecca, Panic Room.

Heather Cherry-Roberts

Knives out would be amazing. Especially if you haven't seen it yet!

Beau Rankin

Love the crafting - and I vote for The Shining (also love The Burbs, Crimson Peak and The Exorcist)! :)

Nan

Love the series and the movie Dark Shadows. Your wallpaper repair was great. I will keep that in my memory bank for the future.

Ldn Systems

Crafting always fun but not necessary!

Bernadette Vaughan

Hi Christine! My six year old daughter and I love your videos. The movies are too scary for us, though, so we will have to pass.

Laura Childers

Original or Musical Little Shop of Horrors?

Kayleigh Dz

Yessss! Sleepy Hollow, Crimson Peak, Beetlejuice or Gremlins. I prefer your suggestion of chatting about movie and eating junk food.

Carla Morgan

The ‘Burbs

Patrick

Simply watching a movie together would be grand.

Jacqlyn Jordan

YES 🥰

GreeneQueen2

Loved the movie night! I enjoyed watching you do something along side it, that way if something rather unpleasant was happening in the movie, I had something else to focus on! I guess the “craft along” element depends on the movie selected and the complexity of the craft! I’ll watch either way! Addams Family Values is my suggestion! I need some Debbie Jellinksy in my life! (Available on Amazon for streaming)

Alice

We totally enjoyed the last movie night crafting was awesome but just hanging out with you and your peps would be a delight. As for what to watch Crimson Peak or The Exorcist and anything from the Aliens series, Queen of the Damned, Practical Magic, anything from The Addams family series and Beetlejuice! 😎

GreeneQueen2

I would looove to watch Crimson Peak with you all. 😍

Violet

That would be fun!

Shepherdess

Crimson Peak, Lady in Black, or old Dark Shadows would be great. I personally like the crafting along while watching a movie.

Erin

I enjoyed it! I'm not really into horror films but it's still fun for me even so; no matter what you pick will be fun.

Shepherdess

The crafting element is always great, but for the movie nights I would be totally content with cat cameos and listening to you tell stories!

Leah Rawdon

I loved the movie watching! I’m down with pretty much any of the previous movie suggestions. I definitely enjoy the crafting element as well. I like to multitask when I watch movies.

Uzannesay

I missed movie night before and I’ve been behind on episodes but I really want to come to this one! I would love a Little Shop of Horrors watch-along/themed craft 🪴

Natasha Rolnick

Unfortunately it violates copyright laws to stream movies on Twitch like that

Brittany Marie

Crimson Peak, and I definitely think you should omit the craft element, and just talk about your life and stories instead :)

Deanna Stanwood

I loved the crafting, the talking, snacks, and cat petting! I have ADHD, I can't just watch a movie, so multitasking is always preferred. Some good movies Lady in the water. It has an eerie feel but not too scary for people who don't watch horror. Elements of love, fantasy, and adventure. It's a beautiful movie. What lies beneath. A love thriller. Has a nice creep factor too. If you like older movies Wild hearts can't be broken, cat on a hot tin roof, Gidget and Roman holiday are all pretty great too. Excited! Can't wait.

Diane Chattaway

I loved the crafting!

Ann Shen

Last time I just watched the movie and listen to you talking about the movie and playing with the kitty cat meow meows. I am incapable of multi-tasking 😆

Susana Garcia

Oooh I love the idea of the Shining. It's been too long.

Jaime Hazard

Rosemary’s Baby or Crimson Peak

Michael Williams

Golden girls marathon?!?!?!

Nick Delosreyes

Crimson Peak, Lady in Black, and Pride and Prejudice would all be great!

Amy Anderson-Green

I would love a rom com or anything creepy that is a comedy. Dark Shadows, Addams Family, Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, Pride & Prejudice and such. I won’t watch actual horror movies because of some trauma I have been through so the last one I didn’t partake in.

Katherine Young

Can anyone honestly say they aren't curious about a CMcC-CliveBarker collaboration??? He's an artist too!

Anna

I missed movie night but it sounds really fun. I've also been enjoying some creature features lately. Maybe a good monster movie?

Denise Osborne

How about Beetlejuice? And no crafting, unless it's something to do with Beetlejuice!!!!! :P

helen crawford

Trick or Treat Crimson Peak Inside (French Horror Movie) Nosferatu Interview with the Vampire Audition The Shining

Sandra

Nightbreed!

Anna

I will only watch a scary movie with you guys!😁 I'm a chicken and have to leave the room all the time!

Traveling Tenor Drummer

I enjoyed the movie night! Maybe "The Shining" would be fun? I see people saying "Addams Family" as well, I love those too!

Tabatha Redar

The Shining or The Ring are two very scary movies. (One of my all time favorite movies is pride and prejudice too). I would be fine with watching the movie and interesting conversation about the movie or anything else. You are like an interesting friend that you look forward to catching up with. All the excellent craft videos have been wonderful, maybe you could relax a little on movie night with all of us and your adorable pets

Alyce

the love witch!!

journey

Heathers (1989)

Daisygrl9781

I didn’t care for the movie night but always love the crafting and your pretty dresses. ☺️🌸

DMCM

I LOVED movie night SO MUCH!!! I’m so excited we’re going to do it again!! 🍿📺📽

Amanda Pavel

I actually really enjoyed the crafting during the movie. Maybe that's my ADD talking, because I can never just sit down and watch a movie. And I LOVE crafts!!

Cait B

The Ghost & Mrs. Muir. The Addams Family. The Others. You're Next. Halloween (Original) Friday 13th To be honest, last time, the crafting bit went completely over my hear. I don't think for a movie night livestream it is necessary. I really just enjoyed watching the movie and blathering on in the livechat and listening to Christine talk about the movie. We could all just have a kind of friends hanging out to watch scary movies sort of night.

Tadgh Kirby

CRIMSON PEAK!!!

Logan Ersatz

Movie, chatting and junk food= PERFECTION 😍

Kyleah Bell

I love the hanging out and eating junk food idea! Maybe a classic slasher movie like Friday the 13th?

Rachel Marts

Didn't make it live but would love too. I would find crafting distracting but love watching you do that

Lindsey

Crimson Peak

Stacey Rowell

Thank you !! I somehow missed that Live !

Tarah Schomburg

Trick or Treat!

Allison

I loved your commentary, like a drive in host! Do you know joe bob Briggs? He has a new show on shudder! It’s so much fun.

Serena Doe

Didn't see the last one. Must have missed it in the feed. But 100% would love to attend if you do it again!

Levi Bushue

I’m up for any movie! A break from everyday life is appreciated

Lacie Fazio

Dark Shadows!

Ldn Systems

I don’t mind the crafting but would love your version of Elvira on the couch just chatting and doing commentary and such over the movie. Anything with Vincent Price.

Eric Mutzabaugh

Haha I like the “craft and watch The Craft” idea

Christine Lambert

Preferably movies already included on various platform subscriptions (like prime vs. rental) - but then again...aren’t we all overdue to watch Sleepaway camp?

Ryan Love

Let's watch The Ring! My vote is on just hanging out and eating junk food on this one :)

Toni Scarlett

So many movie suggestions going through my mind! The Love Witch, A Dark Song, Housebound, Starry Eyes, The Orphanage (literally scared me more than any other movie I've ever watched) Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, Night of the Hunter, Cabin in the Woods, Nightbreed, The Thing, Videodrome, American Mary, The Stepford Wives, Scream Blackula Scream, Ganja and Hess, Nosferatu (Herzog version) Addams family Values is probably a good group movie. Or actual episodes of the original Addams Family. Trust me, most episodes hold up. I've rewatched almost every one in the last few years. Morticia and Gomez are the ideal married couple, and best scenario rich people too. In fact, they're great overall role models in general. Goals.

Kris Rose

Silence of the Lambs

Jenevie Shoykhet

I liked the movie night so much that it seemed like the crafting was a bit of a distraction. But, as one above said, it doesn't really matter so much what you do, or don't do—I am here to watch YOU ;) I loved how much you were into the movie, and all the little pieces of trivia and personal memories you added to the viewing. If you do decide to do some crafting, let's keep it super simple, and maybe even movie relevant.

Jenevie Shoykhet

You should pick one of your favorite films and talk to us about it. Explain why it's your favorite.

Anthony Lezama

I second Addams Family, or maybe the Craft & a craft? That would be cute 😂That’s a fun one. Craft or not, I’m cool - I’ll probably just be knitting anyway!

Jill Purdy

Silence of the lambs

Bo Silves

Yes as long as it is not a horror movie. I love suspense but not gore. 😁

Suzana S.

Agree!

Sarah Bear

Yes for the movie!!

Sarah Bear

Unfortunately I missed the movie last time. But it sounds like a great time to me!

Andoni

The Babadook, best scary movie of all time 👌

Heather Anderson

Event horizon

Jackie Antes

Loved movie night. I craft anyway when I watch a film, I'm not able to sit without keeping my hands busy. There are so many awesome suggestions here for movies and really as long as it's a horror/thriller I'm good xx

Liana Palumbo

The Shining!

Caitlin E Perkins

My understanding is that it is Tim Burton piece with same actors on board and continuation of story....however, I have not seen anything on progress of it

PBJ

If you do a movie night you should either do it on Twitch or Discord. That way you can screen share the movie and everyone want have to worry about having a copy or trying to start it in the same place.

Orealgreenleaf

I'm a new Patron, which movie did you guys watch last time?

Samantha Fisher

I trust your judgment to pick the next movie.

Lesley

Alien!!! It would go along with your cookbook 🖤

Lindsay Powell

I'm a classic horror fan. Plus i did love the craft along..sorta like a slumber party

Jennifer Edwards

I say something nice and simple to craft along to with the movie. I have a hard time sitting through a whole movie without having something to do with my hands. Lol As for the movie, I really like pretty much anything ookie spooky. I thought The Babysitter on Netflix was hilarious and still a horror movie. There was also one I watched recently...I want to say it was called like...House of the Devil or something like that. That was super scary. Also, liked Hide and Seek.

Nicholas Frig

I missed it! I’d love to do a movie night stream! 💖💖💖

ZombieChomper

I'd prefer less focus on crafting, maybe everyone just does something low key on their own. Interview with the vampire would be awesome!

MsFenriss

Patron's would watch you clean the cat box. Really. So crafting and movies are a bonus.

Angela Pogue

Commentary about the movie is always enjoyable, we don't have to craft. ... I was thinking Event Horizon for the next one.

Marie Nemirovsky

Any of the Addams Family movies :) and do what you gotta do. I didn't mind all the multi tasking. I think you did a great job juggling lol

Amber Noseworthy

I loved the movie night! I kind of prefer to just talk about the movie but I always love your crafts so much too♡ I love all of your livestreams, I get so excited to join in!

Taylor Makenzie

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sophie Whitehead

I love movie night! My attention span is not as good as it used to be so I think watching and chatting would be so much fun. I love Crimson Peak or something more fun like Practical Magic could be fun for chatting also.

Gina

So much fun!! Thank you!!

Kelly Phillips

That's a REALLY good film !!!

Sophie Whitehead

I second that!

Evey E

I agree!

Sophie Whitehead

It was the February 14th Live Stream, if you scroll down the feed you can watch it.

Angela Pogue

Easy crafting, Bram Stoker's Dracula - Francis Ford Coppola, and cats

Danica Storm Resch

Good suggestion!

Sophie Whitehead

I quite enjoyed watching Silence of the Lambs with the stream, brought a new dimension to it. I liked the chatting and the sudden 'Ooh, this is a good bit' moments, made me pay attention. :D Film suggestions hmm... I recently bought The Love Witch which is fantastic. Very eccentric and delicious to look at, might be a good choice?

Angela Bell @angbellart

The Shining, Candyman, Helraiser, would all be great 😃

Sophie Whitehead

I'd rather you pick a movie favorite of your own you'd like to share with us. But if you're looking for suggestions, Beetlejuice or The Craft or Practical Magic.

Andrea Schultz

Original House of Wax with Vincent Price. Watching a movie, talking, and chilling.

Orealgreenleaf

We should watch The Love Witch!

Johnny Gilbert

Was the movie night recorded ?

Tarah Schomburg

I’m a big fan of multi-tasking so I enjoyed how we all half talked craft & half watched/talked about movie 🤗 And with movie choices, your habit of watching the twisted & disturbed is my favourite so any movie from your list of favourites would be great.

Vi

Legend please. 😁

Lyss0ph0bia

Trick-r-Treat or even Hocus Pocus would be amazing! Living away from family for 2 years due to covid (stuck overseas) is a bit depressing, the movie night made me feel like I was visiting with an old friend or family member, It felt like home oddly. Would love another. I really enjoyed the "commentary" with the movie :-D Crafting at the same time was a fun perk as well ;-)

Dave

The Shining! 🪓 I like just conversation about the movie, but incorporating an easy craft along that fits the theme of the film is super fun, too!

Heidi K.

Movie only, Crimson Peak! We can't focus on two things at once! 😉 We did have a blast last time, though!

Becky & James

I'm refraining from voting. I like the idea for movie night, but practically it's not for me, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. <3

KingDingbat (Troy Kristoffer)

The movie night was great, thank you! I'd also be on board with Dark Shadows and/or Crimson Peak. However I haven't seen the Wizard of Oz with Judy Garland in ages, I think that might be fun too and one doesn't have to follow the plot too closely.

LydiaThimble

I love movie nights!! I love all sorts of movies, but my favorites are always the classics 🎥 there’s a movie called “House on Haunted Hill” which came out in 1959 that looks pretty amazing 🍿 plus, I do love the idea of just vegging out & having a movie night with us while you take a break with crafting, you do so much as it is, It would be awesome to have more of you joining movie night 🤗❤️

Paulette Mickle

Crimson Peak!! ♥️🔪 I’m leaning towards a more chit-chat format without a craft; feels more like a true movie night! :)

Jessica Pray

How about Coraline? While making our own creepy dolls?

Bibiane Choi

A new version? Why!? The original is perfection. I do not want CGI BS in my Beetlejuice! Gross. Claymation and practical effects forever!

Kris Rose

Practical Magic!

Jerry Moore

Crimson Peak for sure! And a small craft would be fun, like a tiny cross stitch or something that can easily be done while watching tv :)

Bevin O'Connor

I loved the movie night but missed out on the live feed because of the email time listed, I prefer the interaction to be about the movie. Golden Girls, Trick or Treat, Hocus Pocus, and snacks....would love to know what your plant based favorites are.

Andalei

I loved movie night! I think it’d be better to not do a craft at the same time. My vote is for Crimson Peak.

Lauren Statts

Suspiria!

Coya MacLean

And if it doesn’t have to be creepy or scary then maybe something like Bad Moms. Lol.

Christine Brown

Crafting and watching so people can do whatever they want or both, mars attacks

Summer Rose Barnes

Movie night wasn't really my thing, but I love craft alongs! Especially sewing projects!

Julia

Picnic at Hanging Rock!!

Ms. Kelly M

I like the crafting element! Maybe even do a golden girls marathon haha

Kimberly Hope

Marie Antoinette!

Alex den Idel

I loved the movie with crafting! Maybe candy man, or the conjuring, pride and prejudice 2005.

Emmanuelle Wambach

I couldn't join in on the last one due to time difference, plus I hadn't seen the film before. Though if there is another one can I suggest Death Becomes Her.

Hannah Rose Anderson

Drop Dead Gorgeous....hands down! 😊

Sherrie Potgieter

I'm not against crafting during the movie but passive crafting would be better than trying to teach us a new thing. I'd prefer doing something fairly mindless while we chat about the movie that we're watching.

Emily

Movie and interacting. No crafting. Sweeney Todd or Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp or Interview with a Vampire.

Christine Brown

Beetlejuice! 😄

Denise Fox

I read that as pbj vibe and got super happy someone was suggesting that. Lol!

Kara Andretta

I loved the crafting element but think chatting about the movie would also be awesome! How about Pride and Prejudice? Or a Tim Burton or Wes Anderson movie?

Lianne Castravelli

I didn't watch the movie but enjoyed hanging out anyway so I didn't feel either answer fits me. The crafting and talking is what I enjoyed so I can enjoy that even without watching the movie at the same time. So whatever everyone chooses is fine!

Susan R. Norwood

Ok so I missed the movie night but I love the idea of it, so keen for the next one.

Kate Bluck

Loved movie night - Practical Magic, Crimson Peak, the Others, The Conjuring, any Hitchcock movie....

Sue S

Might be better to keep this one for the winter holidays, but the original Black Christmas is a classic!

Ultra-K

That was a fun night, The women in black or The Others as movie suggestions.

Ashley B

Yes to crafting element ❤ I do crafts with movies on but doesn't have to be anything complicated!

Gingerpuffs

I think you mentioned a creepy Golden Girls episode? That would be fun and maybe a craft after or before.

Rebecca Phelps

Crimson Peak is my suggestion! Maybe an easier craft (embroidery maybe) so we can craft but still chat about the movie when something big happens!

Trista Patton

I loved the movie night and I would prefer the commentary over the craft, or maybe a simpler craft without too much explanation so as to stay focused on the movie :)

Isabelle Rivard

I loved movie night, you might enjoy Flatliners with Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon and Kiefer Sunderland

Sarah Bartlebaugh

Movie plus crafting please!!!!! Or chat, snacks and pets 😀 either would be fun!!!

Magdalaena

craft along with it please. Gives something to do while watching the movie and pretending to chat with you.

Scribby Scribner

I would have preferred movie chat to a craft during a movie.

Colleen

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark!

Kim Ladouceur

Should do one in October with Trick r Treat!

Alexxis Johnson

There would need to be way more notice in order to have the movie available.

Janette Perez

People under the stairs

Linda nikolakos

I like the movie night but it would be better probably to discuss the movie rather than trying to do a craft at the same time. So many good movies to choose from. Maybe something like The Haunting of Hill House

Diane Letulier

Golden Girls

Catherine Brennan

Movie, chat, snacks and pets

Janeen

Loved movie night, but that particular film is not for me....I still haven't seen your suggestion of Crimson Peak...or maybe Beetlejuice since new version coming out soon?

PBJ

Movie night was great! I also liked the crafting or watching you craft, I don't use hair extension personally so it was more fun to just watch the movie or listen to it in this case.

Kittypants

Addams Family Values or maybe an old Vincent Price or Bela Lugosi film. I prefer leaving out the crafts and focusing on the movie and kitty kuddles. And snacks.

Zachary M

We should all be watching the movie together and you should interject with comments on scenes you like and fun trivia about the movie. There's no point in playing the movie at all if our attention is diverted watching you do something else.

Erika Gates

Loved movie night! Also loved the mixture of chatting and crafting 😊 I second Crimson Peak or maybe Dark Shadows?

Suzie

I liked the idea of watching some Golden Girls episodes together...and of course all the cats!

Brooklynn

I think a movie night, junk food hang w/ a p.j. vibe would be fantastic.

The Jazzars

A movie on Amazon Prime perhaps? I know they have a watch party option, which could make things easier. I think it would be fun to just chat and have snacks with cat and dog cameos of corse! 😊

Sara Caudill

I missed the movie night because time zones :/ but I think I'd like commentary more than crafting. For movies, I'd like to see a movie I've never seen, not a popular one but still good.

Mx. Brock

I'd prefer to discuss the movie!! 🤗📽

OliviaOoky

Ditto the above!

Cindy Kessler

I liked both craftiness and the movie

Christina

Love the movie night! And also I love that there was a crafting element!

Buggie

Either one you decide will be lovely! I did love the craft though, because that’s often what I do when I watch movies too🥰

matilda gaona

I love the idea of a movie night but it is rather a pain to set it up and allocate 2 hours to it! I watched the first part and would have loved to see the hair extension tutorial, but it was a bit much all together. Maybe 30 min catch up 30 min tv episode instead of a movie? I would make an exception for Jurassic Park ;)

Cassandra Cyr

I'd be more down to talk about a scary movie while crafting something.

Sufani Garza

If there was no crafting I would definitely enjoy it, trying to do both was too distracting. A movie night with just the movie and commentary it would be cool!

Shelby K

The original night of living dead would be a great movie night.

Dania Morse

Jeepers Creepers would be so much fun. Just relaxing and focusing on the movie sounds perfect 😊♥️

Lauren Elizabeth Burns

Eyes Without a Face!!! It's a French film, but oh my goodness is it incredible. It's a horror film, but not a gore horror. It's beautiful, and dark, and CRAZY, and spooky...

Smitten Kitten

Movie night was perfect the way you did it! For a movie suggestion, how about The Lost Boys (1987)?

Kelly Ward

Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Earth Girls Are Easy, or Midsommar

Tyler Graham

Didn’t join the last one but sounds fun! How about Ready or Not?

Allegra Favila

I would rather discuss the movie and pet kitties

Cathy Fontaine

The movie night was great. For the movie I'm thinking Alien (1979) by Riley Scott.

Andrew Grey

Crimson Peak as a movie suggestion per the last livestream!

Cami Castaneda

Liked the movie night! But would definitely love it if there was a bit more on the movie commentary/ movie focus!

Ange

Flowers in the attic

Heather Turner

Seconding what Ashley said. The crafting element is great, but if you just want to chill, you're totally welcome to do that.

Suzanne Weiner

Crimson Peak would be another no brainer for this group. I like the small crafts as i usually need to keep my hands busy with something when i watch TV :)

Angela Pearson

I had to miss the last one but I like the craft along idea since I tend to not sit still during movies so having a project to work on would be fun!

Miggea

The last movie night was fun! Also, all videos should include your furry friends 💜☺️

Amanda Elizabeth

I am so in LOVE with the dinning room series!! Can I please live there as your maid. 😂❤️

Tyler Young

Trick r Treat is my favorite movie!! I think it would be a good watch for everyone 🥰 also I love the idea of just eating junk food and watching the movie and talking about it. But I like crafting too!!

Sara Cunningham

I love the movie night. I think crafting while watching is great. It's like hanging out for movie night. :)

Camilia King

I likes it, but had a hard time finding the movie

Courtney - Crow Fire

The movie night was so much fun! Didn’t even need the crafting element, I agree just chatting and eating snacks and commenting on a movie was enjoyable

Tim Willers

Crimson Peak!!! I’d love to watch that with you❤️❤️❤️

Emina Ibrahimovic

Lost boys!

Tilura

The 1959 William Castle House on Haunted Hill.

Amanda Montes

Crimson Peak! I think just hanging out and watching the movie would be fun. You deserve to have fun, too!

Ashley McDonald

I loved it. One of my favorite live streams.

Beau Rankin

I loved the movie night we did before, I had soo much fun! I enjoyed watching you craft but if you found it too overwhelming then just watching the movie with you will be amazing too x

Lauren Downard
