For clothing that is too small, you can actually do insertion lace. It's a Victorian method I learned from Bernadette Banner and I've sized up a couple pairs of shorts and a shirt using that method.

Yes, I would *love* your mom on a livestream. One of the main reasons I enjoy you and your show is how much it reminds me of me and my mom when she was alive. She was such a witchy vamp goth Lady with a capital L - she even looked like you, it's crazy! and we spent many nights sketching, listening to music, talking and making things all my childhood, at the kitchen and dining room table. Your videos remind me so much of the best time of my life with my favourite person in the world.
Please also the dress alteration one!

Something that I'm still interested in knowing more about are the spirits in the house? I remember on the tour visit - which prompted me to subscribe on Patreon - it was mentioned we'd hear more about them. On the next video I think there was a mention about keeping it quiet. I'm in England and so in love with East Coast architecture and homes. I was looking forward to getting that feel for the history of the house and anything still holding a presence there. Just some feedback if you're open to sharing more about the house post tour video :)

please do the dress form! We've been waiting forever to see you make one! also $150 max budget for a dress form I think would be good. because you want to make a cool custom carved base, maybe suggest to others that they can use a wooden coat rack as a base. I've bought one for this particular project off of Amazon for only $24!

To sum up the napkin sewing process (organizing my thoughts before I start):
1. Starch the fabric square (cut on the straight grain)
2. Mark the outline on the fabric
3. Iron strips of Fuse-N-Tear on the reverse, under the outline
4. Stitch over the outline with a tight zigzag stitch (don't start on a point!)
5. Cut the fabric away from the stitching.
6. Stitch over the existing stitching with another zigzag stitch, stitching toward each side of a point.
7. Tear away the Fuse-N-Tear.
Tada! Ready for monogramming or folding.
Did I forget anything important?

Was it napkins for February and wallpaper and dining table for march? Like two episodes or a big one?
I love these activity lifestreams like the baking one agesss ago in your old house ❤️

The drive ins a a perfect pandemic safe thing to do when its warmer (I think I'm about 45 min from you in the capital region of NY) this area is special in that there's more drive ins than any other place in the country...maybe world? and I'm not sure why. A lot have catered to older movies especially during the pandemic, this pass season alone I saw. Hocus Pocus, Casper, Lost Boys, Jaws and back to the future.Theres about 5 to choose near me and I want to try one that's a little further in Greenville that only plays old movies. A couple years ago I went to the one near Cooksackie that plays old horror from dark till dawn, they do it every year early fall before it gets too cold. I believe that is called from dead till dawn. We should get a group tougher and go 🖤🖤 Where my spooky people at? ❤️😍😍

Thinking about the real plant options, ivy's are prone to spider mites...and both ivy's and ferns require a lot of moisture and humidity (which is why I kill every single one I've had). Super easy plants to start off with (but can be toxic to cats so would require a home that the cats cannot access) are pothos and zz plants. Neither require a ton of sunlight and aren't super finicky when it comes to watering.

I found a used dress form for 250 it’s not my exact size it’s a little bit smaller but make up for that with padding... I made a duct taped one... it fell apart.... I think you’re better off just spending money on a professional one 🤷🏻♀️ Doing it yourself can get very expensive

Christine, you could get some palms for your solarium and create a beautiful victorian palm house. Best advice is to mist and water lightly initially and then gradually build up as they acclimatise. Also leave off in winter completely
