You could check out The white Mountains in New Hampshire. Lots of wonderful old houses and a few castle too. No Federal income tax just state.

I said "Well, if Christine can do it, why can't I?" completely ignoring the fact that I am quite a bit older than you, my husband has had health issues and it is a totally new place we know nothing about.
