Hi Christine. Would it be possible for you to upload this episode in a different format to Vimeo. For some reason, this episode won't play correctly, regardless of what I try to do. It's playing for a few seconds and then buffering repeatedly but never progressing, despite no other issues with any streaming or download services that I use. It seems to be an issue with Vimeo itself and I can't seem to figure it out. As I said, all my other video and game streaming services are working fine. No issues with connection. I really want to watch it, especially now that the patterns are here. :/

Silamide thread! It’s a waxed nylon thread that’s very strong and would be great for a project like this.

you just need cotton musliln

No problem :D. I did forget to mention a couple of things though: 1. If you know you’re going to be doing a project that calls for a good amount of ironing it will probably be better to use polyester thread rather than nylon. The polyester won’t be quite as durable as the nylon but the nylon has a higher chance of melting under the iron. 2. There are two types of nylon thread that I know of. One has a normal thread texture and the other is... basically fishing line I haven’t machine sewed with either but I’m betting it’s better to lean towards the one that isn’t like fishing line.
Sorry for not mentioning those points sooner. I didn’t think about it because I’ve only used nylon thread for small hand sewing projects so far.

When or where can we get a pattern for the pillows? I have trouble understanding the measurements and need written or drawn out instructions.

If you’re looking for durable you could try nylon thread. You can even get clear nylon thread if you don’t want to have to worry about color matching.

This is something I always wanted to do but alas lack that talent to figure out a pattern. Soooo glad you will be providing one for us, I'm already looking for fabrics I want to use. Btw, will you be giving us a supply list? I tried to write down what i might need as i watch the video but didn't know if i was missing anything..... I'm also curious as to know what thread works best, most of the thread i own seems very weak in comparison.

I work in upholstery in nyc, do consider using raw cotton & wool as softish fills. Dacron will smush within weeks, therefore it’s great as a temporary fill, or as a compliment to another firmer material. If you want to add some weight, I have a completely organic secret I can share with you...I loved this video, truly lovely work as always!

Lovely video and I really appreciate your conscientious statement at the end. I will suggest my own opinion, which is worth whatever you want to take from it, that reusing (washed) vintage down when already available may be preferable, from an overall kindness to animals and the earth perspective, to throwing it away and replacing it with a non-biodegradable virgin petroleum product. Following your conscience as you learn is always hard but a great path to follow. There aren’t any great answers to the global problem of resource management, humanitarianism, and waste, unfortunately.
