Hi Joe! You don't even need the IPA for this - it's just as if it's written "doin," rhyming with "win" or "pin." Usually people only do this shortening 1) in fast speech and 2) for verbs, not as often for other words (like "following") that end in -ing. If you do it in slow speech and for every word, it sounds a little non-standard. People also do this in songs more frequently than in conversation. Try to pay attention to natural speech in videos and podcasts to hear when people say -ing vs -in. And with "of them," you have a choice - you can say "o them" or "of em." Lots of people mix both short forms. The second is a little more common for people around me, but both are fine. Remember too that these are usually done in fast speech as well. Keep it up!

Hi Mahendra! I really like the textbook English Grammar in Use, though it might be a little basic for you. You can read the example sentences in the grammar book aloud, repeating many times, for speaking practice. Eventually the word order and grammar patterns will become more automatic for you. As for news, I strongly recommend reading *interviews* and *editorials/opinion articles* rather than just news articles. Interviews and editorials are much, much closer to how people use English, while news articles use their own writing style. I also recommend finding full sentences and phrases that you think are useful for the things you want to express, then saving them in a list so you can review them later. If you read something and think "I wish I could speak like that," save the sentence and review it! You'll soon find yourself able to use that phrase. Good luck!

Hi alex, I have following questions to ask. I’d like to know more about when I should turn ing into in ? what it should be sound like ( in IPA) ? For instance,“doing” sometimes becomes “doin”? I’d also like to know more about how to say “them” in fast speech. For example, all of them , one of them , more of them , I like them , etc Thanks so much for your hard work.

Hi, I'm good at understanding English shows, and movies but my speaking is bad. My word order, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, etc are the major issues. 1. For pronunciation, I got your Patreon. 2. For grammar, I ordered the "English for Everyone English Grammar Guide". 3. For vocabulary, Yesterday, I started reading newspapers aloud and searching for word's meanings and pronunciations on Google. Whatever new vocabulary I'm discovering, I'm trying to build sentences with them too. Questions 1. Do you have any suggestions for me for the above and to improve my fluency? 2. What things do I add above or do more? 3. How can I improve my English faster?
