Meet the bad guys!
Collectively, they are known as The Kthonics, a paramilitary team of mythological mercenaries from the Underworld that have been deployed by the mysterious Big Bad to capture the Amazon Arrows. What follows is one of the larger fight sequences in the book. I really love these guys and I plan to flesh them out more in the future. Clockwise from the top they are Ocypete the Harpie, Asterion the Minotaur, Stheno the Gorgon, Marsyas the Satyr and Brontes the Cyclops. If you'd like to learn more about them, you can either brush up on your ancient Greek mythology or you could back Amazon Arrow: Immortal Reign on Friday. :D
Right now this is a double page splash that falls on pages 42 and 43 of the book. I'm running out of time and now I'm torn between digitally inking more interior pages or coloring this one, but now that I just spent the last 11 hours inking this monster I really want to see it in color! And I think it'll make a good promo image for the campaign, so yeah, coloring this is next on my list!
