Dr. Tronix Revealed
Added 2019-04-11 23:09:03 +0000 UTCIn 1971, Pyrrah and Chryseis (who was then known as Dartgirl) joined a team of superheroes knows as the Liberty Legionnaires. One of the other members of the team was a young hero in his late teens known as "Tinker". Armed with the alien “Eternity Gloves,” Tinker was capable of constructing anything that he could imagine from any material available in a matter of seconds.
Tinker had a massive crush on Dartgirl and he pursued her relentlessly, but Dartgirl wasn’t interested and rebuffed his advances for over a year. In 1974, a brokenhearted Tinker used the Eternity Gloves to construct a machine capable of humiliating and defeating all of the Liberty Legionnaires. The machine attacked Dartgirl and broadcast the spectacle over the airwaves. Millions watched on live TV as the Liberty Legionnaires were destroyed from within by one of their own. The machine was eventually defeated and Dartgirl was slain in the resulting blast.
The Legionnaires disbanded… and Tinker changed his name to Dr. Tronix.
A few years later, during a fierce battle with Pyrrah, the Eternity Gloves were damaged and exploded while Dr. Tronix was wearing them. Little was left of Dr. Tronix's body, but the alien Eternity Gloves bonded with his remains and kept him alive. Dr. Tronix is now virtually immortal and he continues to plague the Amazon Arrows to this day.
