She was severely injured during the First Messenian War by a Lycan soldier and Pyrrah took her to the Amazon Isles to be healed. Chryseis aided in her recovery and Aella fell deeply in love with Chryseis, though that love was unrequited due to Chryseis's marriage to Pyrrah. In 630 B.C. Aella was betrothed to an Amazon warrior named Lykopis to end an Amazon Civil War. For centuries, Aella struggled to conceal and suppress her feelings for Chryseis, which only seemed to make them grow stronger. Following the death of Lykopis, Aella and Pyrrah found themselves thrown into the distant past, where the two Amazons lived together as lovers for thousands of years. Upon returning to the future, Pyrrah and Chryseis chose to welcome Aella into their marriage. For this trio of immortal Amazons, there's always plenty of love to go around.
