Official Partnership with OPR Games

Hello everyone!

We hope you are all enjoying the Christmas break and are getting ready for the New Year. We wish you all the best!

We also have some big plans and news that we teased earlier this month and would like to announce today.

Introduction

Many of you may know that Titan Forge and OPR Games go a long way back. Ever since we began to create and offer STL files, we have been in touch regarding creating the best experience for our subscribers and putting together cross-promotions.

This year, we finally had the pleasure of meeting offline. OPR Games has accepted our invitation and joined us at the ESSEN SPIEL show. From our mutual insights and talks, we have concluded that our passion will allow us to join forces and create new fantastic lines of digital and physical products that you will have a dedicated use for.

OPR Games Wargaming Systems

OPR Games has pioneered a fantastic vision of open-to-all tabletop wargaming system solutions that we want to endorse. We feel that the freedom with which the community can participate in the creation and evolution of the armies and rules in OPR Games is unprecedented. Comparable to what the Open Game License (OGL) contributes to the thriving expansion of the DnD system. This is something that we want to support and be part of.

Partner Projects

That’s why Titan Forge, Archvillain Games, and OPR Games are becoming official partners. In 2024, we will be introducing new armies for OPR’s Age of Fantasy and Grimdark Future systems. Our goal is to take your 3D-printable tabletop gaming to a new level and open up a whole new area of miniature hobbyists to the joy and challenge of miniature wargaming.

This cumulated effort will also result in additional exciting developments. We will have new armies joining the Bloodfields systems created by our partners. We will be animating the competitive scene together. And, in 2024, you can expect a large joint tabletop gaming FronTiers campaign featuring miniatures from all your favorite creators, that you call follow now HERE!

Physical Products

The next step in our cooperation will be creating physical product lines in cooperation with OPR Games. The idea behind this is to provide you with a complete and straight-out-of-the-box wargaming experience. This is something that we know many of you are still after and will also make our efforts more accessible to a wider audience. If you have any needs or ideas for anything that you would be interested to see in our offer, be sure to let us know in the comments. We always put a lot of consideration into your suggestions.

Thank you for tuning in, look out for more announcements, and have a truly fantastic 2024 with more time for your favorite hobbies!

Cheers, TF Team

E.g. - January's "Black Knights" are cool, but there are tons of heavily armored and augmented armored models with guns and swords and robes and hoods from lots and lots of creators. You've got tons of skills and the catalog shows you're not hurting for unique ideas and fun concepts. Why is everyone just getting into the same worn ruts in gaming and modeling when 3D printing and STLs were so unique for the past few years? I hope you're leaning more DTL style for these collaborative armies.

You mentioned Bloodfields getting new stuff, but nothing about Grid Wars. I've been a supporter since day 1, but armies don't excite me. I like Grimdark Future: Firefight, but even there, I don't like aping Nottingham. If you flesh out the Grid Wars factions, that could be fun. Always a fan of your unique stuff, but the not-Nottingham stuff has been superfluous for me. You've been doing fantasy armies for a while now in Titan Forge, and they're beautiful, but even those units have been extras I don't really need or care much about. There are lots of other Patreons if I want Nottingham rip-offs. Yours were both excellent because of the style and the subjects/themes for each release. Give us more Titan Guard, Cyphrons, Cybercult, Corporation, Yakuza, etc. That would expand Grid Wars 2.0, and it would flesh out more options for some GF:F lists. The armies from the Dragon Trappers Lodge have been fun and unique. I'm the person behind the Papsikels Law Enforcement army (on deck to be promoted after Skull Hunters, Xenos, and Engineers). Making models to fit the existing OPR armies isnt interesting to me at all. Something with unique models and play style grabs me much more. This is just one guy's opinion, so it doesn't carry much weight, but I might not be alone here.

This is awesome! I can't wait to see what this collaboration produces.
