May Full Preview

Hello everyone!

Right now, you can see everything that is incoming in May. Get ready for militaristic and futuristic soldiers of all specializations along with equipment and vehicles. Create your own battlefield for all maneuvers and get ready to roll!

--

Behind every successful project, there are dozens of failed ones. Project 'Nimbus' is one of them. Its goal was to virtually train a group of Titan City guardians in a high-end simulation. In the infinite number of computer-generated clashes, they would become prepared for every scenario.

They did not.

The first goal of the project was to create two distinctive teams. The first one, TEAM BLUE, would be perfect little soldiers - noble, pure of heart, created with sugar, spice, and everything nice. The second team, TEAM RED, would have a mystery 'Factor X' added to the mix, representing certain flaws that would make them more human. The aim was to find out which team would be more motivated to defend the city.

The answer was neither.

The Arbiter was assigned to be in charge of teams' training. The gigantic master of the art of war was supposed to keep both teams in check. Train them, provide combat knowledge, drills, and outcome rulings. The presence of such an all-powerful figure was to prevent any tardiness, vain, or apathy.

It resulted in the opposite.

Memo from Simulation no. 1,23E+10

Arbiter has announced another bomb round. REDTEAM's goal: detonate the underground bunker. BLUETEAM's goal: prevent it from happening. Location: Blood Valley (STL Terrain).

Guardian Blueone has immediately blown his arm off in order to train desperate combat with a missing limb. He has lost consciousness from bleeding shortly after.

Guardian Redone was carrying the explosives and accomplished the objective of setting them up in the bunker. Then, he set up a dead-man switch and refused to execute the detonation unless all members of the BLUE TEAM come to die with him.

Guardian Bluetwo is continuing his Angelus Brutus Grav-Tank training. Using unconventional rockets created out of rock debris has resulted in jamming and fire in the cabin. Safety protocol has failed.

Instead of following the mission, Guardian Redtwo went out to the Arbiter in order to badger him about possible alternations to the simulations, mainly adding women, powder, and poker tables.

'Or at least let us take off the damned helmets just once?!' shouted Redtwo angrily.
'Maybe one day. in a TV series.' answered Arbiter mysteriously.

Guardian Bluethree, as a last resort, entered the bunker in a Milo Fidelis Dreadnought, which was declared cheating by Redone, as the mech's protective armor would allow them to survive the explosion. During the altercation, Redthree drove in in the Wardog Jeep trying to ram into Bluethree and expose him to the explosion, but he accidently ran over Redone, killing him and triggering the detonation.

Summary: REDTEAM Victory. Mission... Accomplished???
Casualties: All but Guardian Bluethree.
Progress towards getting the guardians combat-ready: None.
Commencing: All guardians are loaded into the next simulation.

--

At this point, everyone involved in the project has already realized it is a failure. However, shutting it down would also expose this information to the public. Currently, one intern is keeping the scores of the simulation after hours. Guardians will remain training until they are ready!

Which is never.

Probably ;)

Michał Marciniak

Are these Custodes Tanks to scale with the proper tanks? Absolutely love them. ( I will ask here as well )

Kurt Pateman

Not a problem at all, I just appreciate you taking the time to consider it for the future. Great work on all of these models and have a wonderful day.

Dr.V

ok Robert we are on it but we can't promise you that this will be a standard procedure in the future

Michał Marciniak

at least a version with smooth sides instead of the embossed wings please

Robert Sakaluk

This option is probably coming but unfortunately not this month :(

Michał Marciniak

Is it possible for you to make a shield of the Milo Fidelis? That unit in 40k and other similar systems has a shield as a common option and it would be handy to have. Just thought I would ask.

Dr.V

Looking absolutely Awesome!

D (Rob)ert Pemberton

The tank is fantastic, I really like the eagle wings on the sides of the tank.

Dr.V

Well, kinda happenned the same with the previous Island of Dr. Maneater bundle, unfortunately there's no way I'm spending that much resin on the big figures....

Pablo Calderoni

we understand but actually, that was the idea ;) probably next tank will be in another setting, we want to have a variety

Michał Marciniak

numbers vary each time, maybe because we do not have modular minis this month

Michał Marciniak

Would like to see the tank without any eagle stuff on it, more hard sci fi look, it's too 40K right now

Robert Sakaluk

This set looks amazing! Love it!!

Drkdesignr

OMG that grav tank❤️

Erik Johnson

I feel the bundles are getting smaller; too many "big" figures and less characters...

Pablo Calderoni

I would love to see it option for Renegade Legion style panels. Those are awesome hover tanks

Sean Masters

Dang now I need even more resin

derek

Agreed, a plain alternative to the decorated/insignia panels would immediately unlock 'any game' versatility 👍

Richard J Russell

looks awesome. would love to see the non-40K side panels for the hover tank though.

Sean Masters

Looks good, would love an unarmed version of the wardog but may be too late in the month for a request like that

Wesley Conklin

That's beautyfull! Thank you so much for your awesome work!

Jérôme

Agreed Guardian Red two looks awesome.

Joel

Great looking set.

Joel

EPIC! Shouted guardian Red two. I like non-modular regular sized troops/characters, way easy to print and (no) assemble without the need of digital or physical tools, while offering modular options to vehicles and big things (like the dreadnought) which are going to be splitted in smaller parts almost always, so this one is perfect in my humble opinion.
