Should we add more MC options? // Poll
Added 2024-02-07 20:03:58 +0000 UTCThroughout the years we have been discussing the possibility of adding Female MC option into our game, and as of recently, also a Futa MC option to play through the game with. As we stated many times, adding Female Protagonist would mean reworking the majority of in-game's content, including scenes, story, and more.
While it's true that adding new MC option to pick from would be a fundamental task, we are also interested in attracting new audiences and offering the existing player base a new way to enjoy our game. It's not something we are planning to do in the nearest future, but nevertheless it's possible.
That being said, Female MC and Futa MC would require a drastically different approach and I would personally argue that of two, Futa MC is a more realistic options short term, since we could reuse the majority of assets, while only changing the character's appearance. With that approach, it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility for us to add Futa Protagonist as a playable character, while also keeping content intact.
This poll serves an "interest check" purpose. We are not planning to start development of neither Female, nor Futa MC right away, but it would be great to know how many of you would be curious to see this type of additions.
There is also a chance that if we ever decide to add more than one playable MC, we would create a separate Patreon page to fund our efforts at expanding our game into more directions than one, since we would most likely need an extra team of few artists just to get all of the content out without harming the production of A34 itself.
But again, it's all plans and ideas. You can vote for what you would want to see, but keep your expectations in check.

The reason why there wasn't any male-male polls or discussions is because we already have plans to introduce routes for Clyde and Luca (femboy from Aurelie's storyline), and hopefully we'll be able to do this in relatively near future.

2024-02-09 21:20:12 +0000 UTCso firstly, i really appreciate your transparency and scope management, nice to see a studio do this And i'm personally all for making this game more appealing That being said, might I suggest a similar poll to this, but looking into the interest for male-male scenes? I personally would like to see that, but I understand that it would be significant work and it might not be for everybody. I also highly value this kind of scope management, so it'd be great to see the community opinion on it, so I know if i should keep me hopes up or not

2024-02-09 18:46:49 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure you know this already but, a "nice to have" in terms of project management would be planning a regular expected delivery (maybe once a season/3 month period) and putting that into your calendar for future updates. and if you made the dialogue sprites first (or whatever you'd call those), and put a little disclaimer at the beginning that the sex scenes were works in progress (or something to that effect). Then most of the game could be played with the new character, and all the current story lines, available from the get go. ya'll do such fantastic work that whatever you decide I'm sure it will more than satisfy!
