June Rundown

Personal Health:

Good news, the drive is under development and that’s all that's important to me right now.

WE GONNA GET YOU BACK ANDRE I SWEAR IT!

Having fun with it, but not gonna lie the possibilities for scenes have given me brain damage.

Like, I wanna get right into it, but we gotta build it up and that’s the part that’s gonna take a minute.

Because of this, I haven’t worked on anything else, not even commissions.

Bank account is gonna be light for a while, so Commissions will need to be a priority.

then 2 will keep me above water for a bit, then we can get back to business.

Mentally though [you can skip this part this is just a huge vent that you can ignore], I’ve been feeling overwhelmed.

I’ve been forcing myself to stay on task and getting trapped in a juggling cycle.

Personal projects come with this huge wave of guilt

I freeze up and try to get back into the main project, But It’s slow and nothing looks satisfying on the first, second, or third draft.
I overcorrect and pray this works out but getting exhausted at the thought.

I’m grateful for the time I’m spending with my friends talking about it and lowkey wondering if I just need to stop and take a long enough break to recoup, and as that option is offered I am just in aw at how fast my friends are able to crank out these pics and I’m just lagging behind.

I’m Jealous, and the advice I keep getting is the same “Take your time, you’re doing too much, try to relax” but I can’t.
I love art, I love my characters and I love drawing for people, I can’t keep away from it for too long cause this is how I am at my core, I need to draw to be.

This used to come easy to me, this wasn’t a struggle before but now I feel so trapped.

I Wish I could properly stop myself from thinking and chill, feels like I’m my own problem when it comes to burnout.

Ok, Vent over, plan time now!

Plans:

• Nothing’s changed much, plans are the same aside from a tentacle pit project brought up by…I think Omi or Metro I’d have to check, but either way, we’re getting our girls thrown into the FAWK pit after we make some serious progress on this drive.

Haven’t done any tentacle-related shenanigans in a while and I got some ideas for this one.

Sketch stream:

The stream will start on June 9th-10th 8:30pm US-central.

The theme this time around will be: Suits

Shout out to Wooly for the idea. Not sure if yall are into Helltaker when it was at its peak or SainMaw Chan, cause Women in suits are some dope shit.

This generally doesn’t have to be something basic like the MIB look, take the coat off and wear it on her shoulders like Yami, loosen the tie,  open the dress shirt up a bit to show off the bra a little, Fuck put a fancy hat on, and wear heels.

Seriously this past week has lifted such a huge weight off my shoulders.

It’s great to hop on a call with yall and shoot the shit.

I’ve been under the weather and you’ve always been there to pick me up.
