3rd Anniversary News #2

Second news about the anniversary, yay! You may also take this as a Christmas post... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This time I've come to show (hopefully) the only thing art-related you'll see from the big update; as for why, well, I'd rather have as much art as I can as a surprise! Also, 😔 if you're wondering about Audrey and The Protagonist, those are still a little tricky to show, so sorry for not being able to do it right now.

So, aside from some slight changes that I'll probably make, these will be the definitive sprites for the girls, I hope you like them.

As I mentioned in the first post, I'm adding a lot of art to the story events, same goes for the remade art of already existing events; of course, I'm also adding some completely new, but those are not the most.

PROGRESS

At the time I'm writing this, I have a good bunch of the new art done, I'm prioritizing having the story events completely done, while I may leave some of the lewds as sketches in case it would take too long (even after possible delays and such 😓 ).

As for why, well; the lewds you can repeat them to death while the story not, pretty simple and straightfoward, I know some of you couldn't care less about it but this is something more for myself so please understand 😅

In case this isn't clear, I'll most likely leave some stuff as sketches because I think that even as that, they look way better than the art they'd be replacing. Right now there is currently around 80 new pieces of art for this update and even if I have a fair chunk of them ready, I might not be able to get all done since there are still a lot of new art to make 😟

WHAT TO EXPECT

As for what I'm going for, these are some of my goals and changed with/to the new art:

• More art depicting the characters and their relationship: I want to display more how they behave normally so the contrast with how they act while under hits harder.

• Way more lore and worlbuilding art, inmersive: Same as with characters, I want to depict MaM as I imagined it, this is more for myself rather than anything.

• Dedictaed and improved art for the sex scene: I've been working hard to make the normal and gadget art unique and feel different from each other. Now I've got a solid grip on my ideas an I can depict them correctly.

• Corrections on some of the old art: Despite what I say, I am not remaking ALL the art, stuff that works fairly well but needs some little adjustments will be kept after being corrected.

• Some slight changes to the shading style: I have an "assistant now", but as I think I probably mentioned before, it's a friend helping me out with the shading, but don't worry, it doesn't look that different from what I usually do. The art HERE is the first one done with his help, I'm pretty sure it looks fairly the same.

So, I think this is all I wanted to say regarding the new art; if there's anything I forgot to say or you want to know about it, just ask me in the comments and I'll make sure to respond.

Next news will be maybe a bit earlier than mid January? (depends on if I post more drawings), I'll talk about UI changes that I've made, RPGM does not have a great UI, so I've been working hard to fix that.
