I'm think Najenda's snippy attitude towards Esdeath's revealing attire is still focused on her younger brother, just not due to being an overprotective sister shielding his virtue 😏. Well, now that Esdeath has the last bit of denial of her romantic feelings for Emiya chipped away, there's no way she'll let him face whatever task he has set for himself alone.

Even if the latter one wouldn't have gone too far as of right now. Esdeath would have made the brat pay dearly for the first one but two times in a row? Idiot. Also, I am still amazed how Shirou and Esdeath have established one of those married couple relationship who can't stand each other but have been married for decades but they are not in a romantic or a marriage or anything nor any guarantees there will be one.

The one that is missing where he was raised outside of the capital could be argued to be made in his first life. So technically speaking he checks out all five of them.

2024-10-22 05:08:45 +0000 UTCI can see the emotion your putting into the relationship between Emiya and Esdeath, and I am loving it especially the part at the end where they were making out. I love how Najenda showed up to save the day. I especially like the battle with Syria, BUT I do have something to say about the torture scene at the end. To be honest it’s expected Akame ga Kill had much disgusting stuff committed by foul villians, which is why so many were supportive of Night Raid on their journey to defeat them, heck reading your story brought back all the memories and feelings I had when I read and watched it, down to the disgust and relief when the villains were stopped. However it’s precisely because of this that since this particular chapter had gore much more intense than any of your other chapters, I feel a warning about the gore and it’s visceral nature is important for this chapter. I mean it’s Akame ga Kill so your bound to see stuff you just don’t like, but they showed it all the time while we just saw this with no…well your last chapter hinted at it, but this was way more intense. You just accurately described a man have his eye ripped out be forced to eat and chew it and then throw it up. A little warning for unprepared reader’s wouldn’t hurt.

I have some guesses where this will go and all of them involve a very nasty fight first. Just depends on wether or not she can remember anything he said to her on the island in her haze of rage.

Of course, Emiya would fall for the one with issues/baggage. For gods sakes he's literally that person in the relationship that says, 'I can fix her' and I'm here for the tragedy that will be unfolding in the finale. I'm just waiting for Shakespear to show up within the palace since this whole world seems to be his cup of tea.

I’m very much looking forward to their next meeting. Maybe then we’ll see if that ice of hers can snuff out the unlimited forge. Or maybe said forge’s heat will melt that heart of ice down and that 5th box won’t matter at all. Great work, Nim.
