Full Speed Ahead!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share some good news with you all! In the last week I had a lot of check-ups and scans relating to the health issues I've had over the last couple of years and the results were all very good :) It's the first time since my lung operations last year that a scan has shown my lungs to be fully healed so it feels like a big weight off my shoulders!

As much as I've tried not to let them affect my work, the health issues have obviously been quite a big distraction for me in the last year, sometimes perhaps more so than I wanted to admit. So it feels fantastic to finally be able to draw a line under that part of my life and move on. Now that there's nothing else on my mind it's going to be full speed ahead with game development!

And just a quick update on development - I've made some decent progress on the game in the last few weeks and I'm currently editing the next devlog video which will be out tomorrow :)

Now, I hope that will be the last time I talk about health issues on here. Hopefully it's just going to be loads of updates about the game from now on!

Karl

Love the project, hopefully we can the person sit at the coffe shop or doing gardening outside their house :)

also cant wait till you release version 0.1.0 as you had in your last video. Its stunning really. I'm also really glad you are better. Ill keep you in my prayers

Hey I just joined this patreon, and I'm excited to finally say hi to you, You have inspired me a lot in the past and still do. I was thinking a bit, would you be able to make the city game follow a standard of GTA, where you can be multiple different characters whenever you want, and go into 3d First Person. I feel that's not the style you are going for, but i think it would be cool to add a button to let you select a character and go into 3d mode. either First or Third person would be sick!!!!!!! and eventually maybe make a multiplayer version with some war to fight for land to expand your city/country. I think that would be rather amazing...

Very glad to hear it!
