A Quick Progress Update

I hope you've all had a good start to the new year. I just wanted to quickly update you on how progress on the city-builder game has been this month.
I had a slightly slow start to the year as I've still been having some small issues with one of my lungs (nothing serious, and I have a CT scan coming up soon to see if anything needs to be done). So I was a bit distracted and progress was slow-going at the beginning of the month, but I got back to my usual schedule in the last few weeks and things are going really well right now :)
I'm currently just finishing off the save-game system, and while working through that I felt that some of the base systems in the game could have been better implemented. So I've decided to take the extra time now to sort them out rather than running into issues later down the line. I'm hoping to finish that all off in the next week.
Seeing as there haven't been any devlogs or new content in the last month I'm just going to pause Patreon payments for February, so you won't get charged again until the start of March. I've started filming for the next devlog though and I'll get the latest version of the game/code to you once I complete the save system, so there's new content coming soon!
I know it seems progress has been very slow for a while now (and it has!) but I'm pretty sure things will start speeding up soon. The basic core systems of the game are now almost set-up so I'll be able to start adding gameplay features in the very near future, and once I've got my health issues sorted I'll be able to give the game my undivided attention!

Let me know if I can help. I'm a macOS user (and developer). I haven't yet tried setting up Eclipse and your sources though.
