City Builder Game Download (Version 0.0.7)

Now that I'm back to my normal working schedule I'll aim to release a new version of the game to you guys every month. Obviously there's very little gameplay right now, but you can still create a cute little town, and search for bugs ;) If you find any, do let me know!

To play, just unzip it and then run the CityBuilderGame jar file. You'll need to have Java installed for it to work and it's currently Windows-only (Mac and Linux build coming soon). Let me know if you have trouble getting it to launch!

You move the camera with the middle mouse button + WASD/arrow keys, and you can place roads and buildings by selecting the relevant button in the bottom left and then left-clicking in a suitable location. You can switch between 4 different building types by pressing the number keys 1-4 while in building-placing mode. Right-click on an object/road to remove it (while in placing mode). As you grow the town more people will automatically arrive, but for now they just travel around town rather aimlessly.

And just so you know, traffic hasn't been properly implemented yet so the cars still crash into each other (and people) all the time.
