Assuming that there aren't going to be any big set-backs, Equilinox will finally be released next month! Anyone who is a Patron (+$5) at the time will receive a copy of the game. There aren't a whole load of changes this month as I've been doing more marketing preparations, but the following things have been updated:
-Camera can no longer clip into the water.
-Less crashes due to species interacting with the edges of the world (let me know if you find any more issues with that).
-Camera animation when starting a new world.
-Corrupt save files no longer cause the game to crash.
-Sound options have been added to the options menu (the new UI option doesn't work yet).
-New flower which can heal disease.
-More sound effects for animals.
-Ambient sounds fade out when switching worlds.
-Younger animals have higher pitched sound effects.
The issues with the depth of field effect will be fixed before release!
Also just to let you know, there won't be a video tomorrow as I've just been working on optimizing the batch rendering system all week so there weren't any visual changes to show in-game, plus I haven't quite finished it so I wanted to spend the weekend doing that rather than editing.
