hello from the theatre hehe
Added 2022-02-25 21:18:30 +0000 UTCi am currently sat in rehearsal waiting for a run to start so i am sneakily tuning in!! and saying hi!!! i can’t post any photos of the rehearsal space, but i did share a photo from the first page of the script where i doodled quite a bit !! i’ve actually been doodling all over my script, it helps keeps my hands busy when i’m not writing blocking or notes during run throughs
we start tech tomorrow, which means we sit in the theatre for 10 hours and work from moment to moment to figure out all the lighting, set stuff, transitions, sound, etc — it’s basically the last v long kinda grueling process where everything in the show comes together! bc i am an understudy, i think i might have a fair bit of downtime? so between learning lines i’m hoping i’ll get to draw a bunch. :3
how are y’all doing!! do you have any questions about the ~theatrical process~? i’d love to answer em if i could!!! and i’m gonna try to take photos that i can actually share with y’all lolol

I know the feeling of both being a cast member for tech runs and then as the prod team, staying until past 1am, so good luck for you guys, hope it stays true to schedule 😅
