I know things are a long ways away from going back to anything resembling the ~before times~ and it's been a long weird hard year in myriad ways but I hope there have been pockets of joy somewhere in there for y'all. Please share those little moments !! I'd love to hear them!!
For me, I think the two biggest things were I started streaming and I got my studio. :•) Twitch has been so so much more fun than I could have ever anticipated, and I've made a really rad little circle of streaming friends, and my Twitch community has grown in a way that is so awesome and really heartwarming. (Here's the link for my discord, btw!! I still don't have any little patron badges set up, but I hope you enjoy hanging out regardless :D) I love playing video games, and I'm really happy that now I have an outlet to share that love with you guys!! As well as art streams, which are also fun (and legit help me focus)
And then my studio!!! It's such a neat space that I'm already starting to settle into and love. Having the separation of work and home has been even more relieving than I thought it'd be, and it feels awesome to have a dedicated space to go and focus to make stuff. Obviously, I would never have been able to take this plunge if it weren't for y'all ;—; I thank you from the very very bottom of my heart. I get all weepy when I think about you guys and the fact that you choose to support me and my little art journey here on the interweb. I know that I'm a rather inconsistent poster, and my mental health is a bit tumultuous — I'm eternally grateful for your kindness and patience, and I just love hanging out with y'all here in this little pocket of the internet. <33333 (imagine a HUGE heart emoji)
I know that the idea of planning seems absolutely absurd, but you're also welcome to use this calendar to just..keep track of time passing. These past 9 months have simultaneously been endless but also passed so so quickly, and I know that's a matter of these months being so similar that my brain has just smushed all the memories together so they take up less space in my brain which is why it seems so quick but ALAS! Here we are!! Time isn't real, but we've still got hopes and dreams, and I hope these cutie calendars can help in one way or another.
Look how cuuuuuute!!! I was def inspired by Studio Dalgona (they have MASTERED the cute and functional stationery game, I'm in awe of everything they put out). This was very fun to work on~ I've got a .zip file attached below with .pngs of all 12 months. :•) They are letter sized, as that's what I use here in the States, but they'll still fit onto an A4 piece of paper.

I quit my job under an abusive boss! Found your vlogs along with so many other wonderful artists on YouTube and felt less alone for it. Created more than I have since I was in art school. I rescued a new kitty, he’s now my little shadow and in love with my other male cat! I made a group of queer gals and non-binary folks and they are now my closest friends and we talk everyday. I started taking commissions and recently I had stickers printed!!

2020-12-31 18:27:58 +0000 UTCthis is so fun!! my favorite thing about this year was really learning how to make little things exciting - like I learned how to make so many fancy coffee drinks, I made sea salt from ocean water, I made so many crafts. one day last week I only brought orange foods to work for lunch because I thought it was funny. I know saying "it's the little things" sounds so 😵💫 but it really is the little things!

I met the love of my life through concerned friends telling me not to binge-watch and to talk to another human back in April, and I've moved to a whole new place to start uni, and I'm loving my degree! thanks for your lovely cozy vids making this year so much more bearable! <3

I love the calendar so much! my highlights this year have been the fact that I've been very lucky and every one of my family and friends has been healthy and okay. I also started my last year of uni and got my dream grad project. and to top it all off, a stray kitty came into our garden one day and never left, so we adopted her (or she adopted us?) and now she's the light of our life. it's the 2020 redemption arc. sending you all the good vibes and hoping you have a good 2021 - can't wait to see what you do!

2020-12-31 09:09:08 +0000 UTC2020 has been rough, but here are some small highlights for me: good vibes on social media (like Cheyenne's videos!), reconnected with a very dear friend who moved back to my city, quit my old job in retail and got a new one as an online editor which I can work in full time after I finish university next year (no unemployment after uni, yay!), Animal Crossing (cause it kept me very busy during Covid). I wish you all a better 2021, even though I still believe times will stay difficult...

They are so relaxing and help me when I get overwhelmed or anxious. A lot has happened this year, for me my good things would be graduating from high school even if I didn’t get a graduation. I got a new cat even if she can be a terror sometimes I love her to bits. I was able to buy a Switch with my bonus from my new job. I’m not much of a gamer I’m more of a reader myself but my boyfriend is showing me a lot and I’m starting to get hooked. I bought animal crossing and he just got me Breath of the Wild and I’ve been playing it nonstop. Thank you so much just for being you! I hope this year is good to you, along with Connor and Sophie.
