happy sunday! hope you're well <3

Hi friends!! Happy December and happy Sunday! I hope you guys are doing alright — we are having a very cozy day in the Chateau de Barton-Miller :> I finally got around to rehanging the stuff that fell off the walls in the kitchen during the summer (the command strips tend to fail when it gets really warm) and I also went down to the basement and finally put up some stuff we've been meaning to get rid of on our neighborhood Buy Nothing page. Tiny adult things!! Feels good!!

Idk if I've already shown y'all our little mantle set up but here it is again:

cute and simple and very appropriate for our home :-) I also ordered a Christmas tree and some rainbow lights for it that'll be arriving this week! We've not had one before as we've gone home every Christmas we've lived in Seattle, but alas! Ye old plague is still afoot, so I'm decking out our home a bit more than usual. I'm actually gonna be baking up some salt-dough ornaments this afternoon which I've never done before...I'll be sure to share my results! There's also a little space above our calendar in the kitchen so I may make a cute snowflake or tree garland or something~ I think I have some felt lying around I could make some use of ?

We shall see! 🌲ALSO look at these cute as hell felt ornaments I got from maker Luna Beehive !!! 

I'm so excited to put them on the tree ;u;

I also wanted to share with you guys what's gonna be coming with the digital shop update! It's unfortunately not nearly as expansive as I was hoping it was gonna be, but! I'm still excited about what's coming! The last thing I wanna make is 1 or 2 cute phone/desktop bg's and then I'll be listing all this fun stuff on the shop. I hope you guys like it! I have a recipe card, two little printable sticker sheet type things, a postcard, and some fun new gift tags. I have them in the gallery above to preserve the image quality so go have a scroll through if you wanna check it out >:) 

I know it's a weird holiday season this year on account of [waves hands about] but I hope that you're able to spend parts of it with the people you love, whether that be in person or using the wondrous capabilities of the internet! Honestly, Discord is amazing for just hopping on voicechat/video chat and having ambient hangout time. Feels way less formal than Zoom and is also just way more pleasant to use hahah. There is of course the wonder of FT too!!
