HOLY COW Y'ALL !

WE HIT $1K!!! HOT DIGGITY DAMN! thank you so so much!!! i still can't quite believe it ahhhhh thank you for being here <333 i'll film my journal walk down memory lane towards the end of this month i think, probably as a break from packing holiday orders haha. i'm going home for thanksgiving, so i'll see my mum has any more old journals/sketchbooks lying around — i know she's kept them but my parents just moved house so they may not be easily accessible. regardless!! i've got quite a few hiding under my bed so we'll have plenty to talk about lolol 

i'm packing up the "archival grab bag" orders that i put up in my shop earlier this week — eating smarties by the fistful and listening to lo-fi christmas playlists on youtube (i know it's too early but i'm a SUCKER for lo-fi playlists rip)

i hit a point this past weekend where i was prepping to cut my sticker stock but my silhouette machines were being so finnicky and i was so tired that i really actually yelled and threw my hands up and made the decision to take the financial blow and order my stickers off stickerapp.com — that's what credit cards are for!! but it's okay — i should be able to pay it off fairly quickly, if things sell as well as i'm hoping they will. i just can't waste anymore time messing with my silhouette machines, with how many orders i tend to get and especially with the crunch of the holiday season. a wonderful problem to have!

and also, y'all's pledges help make me feel a lot safer about risky ventures like this — tbh, your pledges on patreon usually go towards my rent (which...ain't cheap, living alone in seattle is $$$ but worth it imo), and it makes me feel way more stable, which helps me start to expand my art/brand/product in other directions. 

i am overwhelmingly thankful for every single one of you, i can't even start to put it into words !!!

also, y'all are gonna have dibs on the first round of sticker gals — these are the ones that i've been cutting out by hand on weatherproof satin matte paper. they're not as ~fancy~ as the transparent vinyl ones will be, but they're still cute as hell and deserve good homes. so y'all are gonna get dibs on all of those — i'll put up the ~secret link~ when i've got it all sorted! they'll be cheaper too x

i'm gonna make myself another cup of tea and keep packing these orders — they come with little handwritten "thank you" notes, as a sort of final salute to this era of the shop. WE'RE GROWING! WE'RE LEARNING! WE'RE EXPANDING! also, since i won't have to worry about cutting stickers myself now, it means that i can spend more time having fun with packaging eeee
