0.4 - now in Cutting Edge testing & Steam plans

a super rough test version of 0.4 is now available to the $25 tier via our discord. It's missing a lot of art, dialogue, all the voice acting and all of the polish. But we wanted to get some early feedback on the direction of 0.4. We will update the $25 build as we develop it like we always do.

The content involves Zoey traveling to the redlight district via a train and finding a job in a certain club you are very familiar with.
Our plan is also to release 0.4 into early access on Steam once we feel it's ready. If you haven't, please wishlist the game on steam!

2026-02-21 00:11:37 +0000 UTCYes, we tried that initially, but it felt kind of convoluted. What counts as an action deducting a point, what doesn't? Spicy scenes? What defines a spicy scene. Is a short dialogue with a customer that includes a tiny spicy bit a spicy scene? Or is it just bigger ones? Where do you draw the line? With a time-based system, the rules are extremely clear from the moment you see the UI. We don't even need a tutorial, it's just intuitive. We ended up preferring that. The timer is paused during any dialogue, so it does not intrude on the spicy stuff.

2026-01-28 06:43:45 +0000 UTCLove the preview on the updates. Have you considered going for a turn-based/action-point-spend mini-game system to simulate time, instead of a pure timer system? It would allow players to enjoy content at their own pace while still keeping the strategy and gameplay elements you've shared. Karryn's Prison and Corruption Town have systems like what I'm proposing.
