Anduo Report - July 24th, 2022

"We are continuing to improve the quality of our town little by little. The week started with monday morning meeting, where we were discussing that something is missing in our market location, but we wanted to make it a lot more interesting and after some team brainstorm and coming up with idea of incorporating more colourful elements and covering cloths would be awesome to isolate and level up the feel of the market by a lot, and during that time Less came up with those AWESOME concepts that it is exactly what we were striving for." 

"And so I spent this week, tweaking small details/reworking meshes and reworking main square a little and here is some tests with it on one of screenshots, and finally working on cloths and lighting!!!" 

"Also as a test tried to simulate the subsurface scattering with some baked lighting and it worked so lovely."  

"One more thing, after some concepts and tossing idea within team, we come to understanding what we would like to see in our dark alley location behind the street - it could be a storage for goods and slaves! And that was it, still some more to do on it, but its coming together nicely and once most of bigger assets were placed (and our lovely nun as a placeholders for slaves) it finally had a feeling of a proper location instead of empty shell it was previously."

"Last week after the release was done, I've done some work for Erokin. To get a vibe for what the game might feel like when playing, I made a mockup of interactions in the town with a playable webgl build:"

There's a noticeable lack of costumes for the party members, so we're now working on a bunch of different optional outfits for them starting with Jewel! We've got lots more to come, so stay tuned!

"This week I've been working on the next stretch of main story content for Third Crisis focused around Rida and her tribe after her dramatic breakup with Mina. So far it's mainly been mission logic setup and some placeholder dialogues to get the flow nailed down. Once that's done, I'll be working on the prototype for the mission's minigame which will be a fun little wrestling button masher with some spicy lewdness sprinkled in."
