TLDR; I am quitting my day job on December 20th to work on Third Crisis full time - And it's thanks to you.
I'm just going to write this post straight off my soul, as some big changes are happening in my life. Here's some music.
Shortly after starting development of what became Third Crisis, I had to take a full time Job. I was fresh off university and needed to earn money to stay afloat, so I took a job as a application developer for boring windows software. I didn't like the job very much, but it was well paid. My coworkers were much older than me and the software we were developing was soulless and a pain to work on. But almost every day, I would come home and work on what I love. Adult video games. Third Crisis.
The freedom of developing what I want to, letting my creativity run wild and having so many people enjoy our work. Those things are some of what the project gives me and I love it. It was the opposite of my old job and I was so glad to have TC.
If I could have, I would have dropped that job and work on TC full time any day, but back then, the financials would not have worked out.
About 10 month ago, I was given the chance to start working in a company developing mobile games. The offer was a big cut from my paycheck, but they were okay with me only working 4 days a week, giving me one full day every work week to work on TC. This was a fantastic offer for me, as it meant I could work on more games, which I love.
But this was only possible thanks to YOU, our supporters. Because of you all, I was able to take the cut in the paycheck and make up for it with funds from the Patreon.
I've been much happier after switching to the new work place. Especially having full 3 days in a row to work on TC (one day from the work week, Saturday and Sunday) was amazing. But it still left something to be desired. I noticed that mobile games aren't what I want to keep doing throughout my career.
Now cut to today. Our Patreon has grown so much that it can now sustain me full time next to all our other expenses. I've talked to my boss and I'll be quitting my day job as a mobile game dev on December 20th to give Third Crisis my full time attention.
Again, this would not be possible without your support. I don't know if I can get across how much this step into full time self-employed adult game development means to me. I am so thankful to all of you for your support. You all make my dream come true.

Despite coming in to this later then other, its something a truely do enjoy being a part of. On the high note, it's even better you're doing what you love. Just keep doing you, and don't burn yourself out on our count.
