Been a while since I've had the privilege of being at a TTRPG table, and I have been considering taking on a new system, apart from the WotC brand; a lot of your critiques of 5e hit home with me. The high stakes and variability of combat, and the niche character roles, are alluring. Maybe a low fantasy homebrew setting is my next creative endeavor. Regardless, I'm hooked. Props to you, Andy!
