There's a new sales tax requirement (will be effective July 1st) that may affect some of you, depending on where you live! So every month you will be charged a bit more for your pledge to me if you live in the countries (or some states in the US) where digital goods are taxable. You can find the list of the countries and more detailed info in this article.

It's too complicated for my one brain cell to process but what you need to know is that I did my part in trying to make it easier for your wallet life (even if it's only for some cents) by listing half of the benefit of my tier as "general support", and the other half as "digital goods". Meaning only 50% of your pledge is taxable if "general support" is not taxable in your location. General support means you're just supporting me without getting any benefits btw. "If the patron is not receiving any benefits, the pledge is not taxable in most places." -Patreon 2020

Also one thing to note, apparently if you didn’t select my tier, and ALso any amount of money added on top of the tier cost is not taxable in most places. Except in the EU...
