Zofie - Morning Stretch

Finished! Zofie's extra lil pinup I did for July. There wasn't time for a vote or anything, so I just ran with a drawing I did last year that I still really liked, and finished it up all nice. I'm pretty happy with the result!

There's a lot of behind-the-scenes info here, if you're wondering. The apartment is next door to Nytro's, they both have pretty cramped studio-type apartment blocks in Kan Rein; Nytro has lived there much longer, and Zofie since she met him. She moved in a while ago, since her bakery is nearby, and doesn't like the cold industrial feel of the unit, along with the fact that her bakery work takes up most of her free time...so this doesn't really get decorated or used much. Early riser to head to the shop, but probably want a coffee first.

The unit's small kitchen has hot/cold water dispensers, measuring systems, as well as CO2 for carbonating things, steam, and a few other common household liquids. The food at her apt is more akin to barebones capsules, tablets and shrunk, dehydrated other stuff that can be mixed and matched into a wide variety of food. Lights and other indicators on shakers and packages display stuff like how good it still may be, full, date since purchase, etc. The notes on her wall have quick magnets, and small electronics embedded for editing or live updating of information, and a lot of the little ones have recipes that she scrambles to get down before sleeping.

The shutters bounce light into the rooms, making for a variety of light options, and the heavy-duty nature of them is very common around the city; the planet's interstellar artillery gun defense system lies around the capitol, and every so often city-wide firing would otherwise blow out windows. The control panel up top is similar to the one in Nytro's Oct2016 pinup, controls things like windows, alarms, temperature, thresholds, etc.
