Palantir's SP500 Inclusion - The First Minute in The 1st Quarter of a Basketball Game

Palantir’s addition to the S&P 500 today was a long time coming, so let's analyze it from every possible angle.

It wasn’t too long ago that Palantir was a bit of an outsider in the tech world, back in May Alex Karp was talking about what it means to be a leader vs. the current tech world culture, and a few months later this concept has been fully embraced by the tech community as the "FOUNDER MODE" that everybody now wants to implement in their business.

Great ideas have many parents, but bullshit Silicone culture is now an orphan...

Palantir was never the typical Silicon Valley darling like Google or Facebook. However, its steady rise to profitability and focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions have brought it to this moment. Being added to the S&P 500 is a validation of the company’s progress but it is only the start.

Inclusion in the S&P 500 is no small feat. For Palantir, it means more than just prestige; it brings access to a much broader pool of investors. This is because the S&P 500 is tracked by countless mutual funds, pension funds, and ETFs. This gives investors even more confidence in the company’s future and the snowball effects starts to build up.

For those bullish on Palantir, the company’s future in AI and data analytics is extremely exciting. While people were criticizing it, Palantir was busy securing high-profile contracts and innovating.

Palantir said years ago: we can do it better. They have proved this time and time again and are now in the driver's seat for the next decade.

So, what’s next for Palantir?

Short term volatility - yes.

More FUD - yes.

Media misinformation - yes.

Excellent fundamentals - yes.

Best in category technology - yes.

NVDA moment - wait for it... (it's closer than you think).

CHEERS! 🍻

I was enthused how quickly they grew in the commercial space, tells me there is corporate momentum. As a developer, I agree with that speed to market to harness a competitive edge. It was for that reason I was considering doubling down in DCA but I'll be patient and stay the course.

Thank Tom , this helps a lot 👌

I agree with Jack M. What seems to be PLTR’s moat is its “elapsed time to implementation”. Accomplishing this reduces time spent by a company on getting needed systems live faster than historically done (SAP one such example).

Missed that, thanks.

Hi Tom, Ok will do. Thank you

Hey Ingo, send me dm here on patreon. I don’t dm on discord since there are scammers there pretending to be me, send me a message here on patreon.

Jack we answered this question in the last academy lesson. Short answer: don’t DCA double based on news and hype

Morning Tom, I've always envisioned Palantir as the tip of the spear in large corporate AI initiatives. The AIP projects will pull through the need for NVIDIA chips, Oracle databases and cloud platforms. With SP500 recognition, is this time to double down DCA or bulk purchase on the dip? I've been on the PLTR DCA train for a bit over a year. Appreciate your videos and analytics, they've been productive and helped me keep my cool. Wasn't expecting volatility from the announcement.
