Really poured some time early on to this pinup, as I didn't want to wait til the last minute again. Came out much more detailed than I imagined it, but I won't complain-I'm pretty proud of some elements, and as a whole. I opted to skim on variations with this one and put more time and work into the image itself, as I said I'd try to start doing, both for letting me have more time for the comic, and in particular, this month I'd still like to try giving the male/feral Spyro some work and make a second pinup for those of you who liked that one too. Wouldn't be the first time I've done two pinups, and honestly I think if I had to pick doing an entirely new image in place of alts for another, I'd probably pick the former.

2019-05-21 23:24:20 +0000 UTCWell for one, it can get really stale. Good alts take a ton of time, planning, and usually weird editing in PSD files. It's honestly pretty draining and doing it for about 4 years straight i think trading off them for whole other pictures or more comic pages feels better, as comic and stories are more of the future. Even other artists patreons, usually in their big pin ups, do just a few versions, like SFW, not, clothed etc. I wouldn't skim on them to avoid working at all, I just think additional imagery/ comic content is just worth the trade off.
