Back! ..to work!
Added 2019-02-05 19:38:34 +0000 UTCFinally back, rested, and ready to go. Sorry for the silence. Most of you know that I don't usually go that long without some kind of post/art.
As my previous post Thursday(?) said, I headed off to a family wedding over the weekend, and really did not get much chance of anything to draw, between the 7 hr drive there and back, poor sleep due to the hotel, and attending family schedules. But, I don't get to see them much, so I figured I'd make the effort.
The vote is about to end tonight, and I'm going right back to work, REALLY eager to draw, cause as I said, didn't really get to draw anything over the weekend, which I hate having to do. Comic pages, pinup sketches and some requests, perhaps as warmups, will be my plate for a few days. Good to be back. Thank you all for the patience!

Practically nobody has the luxury to be completely free from family nonsense. I know how debilitating family life can be to personal goals- and unfortunately I also know how it feels to be completely powerless in that regard. You have sufficiently convinced me long ago that you genuinely care about your work and you love doing it. I completely trust what you say happened and have no reason to suspect it is a cover for personal laziness or lack of motivation.
