Predators of Denali - Page 12 Sketch
Added 2018-01-13 22:02:09 +0000 UTCFelt inspired to move onto getting the next page sketched out, since it follows 11 pretty directly. Page 13 starts to move on ahead, leaving the ceremony and a lot of the buildup.
The kuma seeds, as Bailey's grandma calls them, are the same as Predators 1's seeds. She shows a bit of knowledge on them, but being relatively new, I don't think she'd know everything, or their full purpose. Also some helpful information for the future. And unwanted mental images of grandma.
Let me know what you think! I'll put this on pause while I switch back to the pinup for now, and planning the first request stream for Friday the 19th, tentatively.

2018-01-13 23:21:04 +0000 UTCI appreciate the feedback, but I think this is just one of those unfortunate examples of "I can't please everyone". The last Predators and CCF had been pretty straightforward, yes, with very little story, world-building or setup. The past many pages I had been pretty worried or apologetic about making a lot of exposition or talking. I worried it was taking too long to get the action, but I received a lot of compliments and encouragement about the slower and more serious pace being more believable or at least, different than said previous comics. This one is basically my take on that. Trying to keep it enjoyable before the bulk of the action, while giving some character work and setup. Personally I think it might feel slower just because I'm only doing 1-2 pages per month, whereas a lot of other comics go for one a week or more. As well to note, this comic will be around 48 pages, and this is the last page of dialogue-heavy work. Page 13 sets off on just the two main girls, so I hope you find it more straightforward and enjoyable from that point on. Part of the reason I also split up work between pinups, sketches, comics and other stuff, is in case someone doesn't find one interesting at the time, the other stuff could hopefully make up for it. Thank you though!

I really enjoyed the original Predators because it was straight forward and to the point, even the last one was pretty direct as well. I haven't been able to enjoy this one even remotely as much as the last few because of all of the dialogue. I can appreciate the effort going into it but it's definitely not what I was hoping for on the Pateron.

But yeah, this is awesome and i can't wait for the next page. Also, what is Baiely's job exactly? I know what she meant in page 10, but by definition as to what exactly she does. But yeah, this is great.
